I literally live 1 mile from this certain stripes store, so it's easy for me to put gas before I head to any destination when I'm heading out..But one day as I'm pumping gas, a woman comes up to me in an aggressive manner saying, "you need to turn your car off." So, I'm from the west side (this is the south)and I'm thinking she's about to rob me so I got aggressive back and takeoff my sunglasses and I tell her "excuse me? I need to do what?" And sh e says "you need to turn off your car while you're pumping gas, it's the law." and starts pointing at a sign near us that I was completely oblivious to. I told her I had no idea it was a law and I needed to look it up to verify and she said it has been like that forever and acted as if I was pretending to not know that it was a freaking law... She then told me she was a manager there that was checking up on her fellow coworkers, and was talking to them when she saw my car on while pumping gas... I then, asked her for her name which she told me was 'Jane' &asked her if it was her duty on her days off to come to the store and harass people that had their cars on while they were pumping gas... Mind you my 3 year-old is in the back, and my 14-year-old sister was in the front &I do not smoke, so I know the vehicle isn't going explode on me or anything... butttt Of course you never know, But I feel like her tone towards me when she first tried to tell me I need to turn my car off before realizing I can give the same tone back and more and got in a fighting stance.... was very unprofessional and it made me not want to pump gas there ever again... Plus the sign is not posted at all stripes stores like she claimed it was. Look out for the woman Jane. Control freak, The reason I'm not rating one star and giving it two is because I have satisfactory experiences w all the other workers that work there, & it isn't their fault they have a bossy manager.
