Water shoes showed 5$ clearance online and for pick up, as I needed to run in anyway, I asked to get the pick up price. Employee refused to price match, said I needed to order them for pick up and come back for them. I’ve never had a Walmart employee refuse to match their own website.. she was decently polite I suppose but poor policy.

Visited my neighborhood Walmart (Flour Bluff) like I always do and found a great deal on a curling iron that I scanned and found the price to be $19.22, but when I got to the self checkout it scanned at $27 and change. I called for the self checkout attendant (Chris) to help me and I even showed him that when I use my Walmart app to scan it, it scans at $19.22. Chris said that was only if I purchase online and pick it up and not for in store purchase. I asked for the Manager who was extremely rude and almost didn’t let me talk as she reiterated a firm “NO” and told me I had to purchase online. I asked for her name and Chris answered immediately with his first and last name at which point the Manager (Cynthia <Name given to me by Chris)who had her name tag turned backwards proceeded to tell her employee he didn’t have to give his name( last name). Just wanted to vent the frustration I felt as I couldn’t believe Walmart would force their customers to leave the store in order to honor a price!!! I’ll just buy it somewhere else AMAZON to be exact since I found it for a better price than Walmarts online price. Thank you Walmart employees for forcing me to shop online and find a better price when you could have honored your price and had my money! Customer win ?

Most of the ones in San Antonio are terrible and you can tell management is more concerned with profit than their employees or customer service but in Corpus, it is a completely different world. There were plenty of employees and they were so helpful!

The employees could use a little pick me up other than that they have a good selection of items available just wish it was still open 24/7

What can I say, it’s a Walmart. All the staff that I have encountered over the last year have all been super nice and helpful. They do stay pretty busy, stick is a little low in grocery at least once a week but they stay as clean as they can for a busy Walmart. Automotive is always slammed at least hour to two hour wait on everything.

Sept 3 1230pm at selfcheck out approached by rude associate Carolyn who interrupts us as we were still scanning our items, "I need both your I.Ds." Have not even scanned the alcohol, hubby was scanning towels. Waited she did thus had to tell her not to rush us especially my hubb is a disabled Veteran and was in middle of scanning towels. We are both over 40s despite it was my hubby purchasing alcohol, I too must be carded but what if I had kids with me, shall they require identification or we be refused alcohol for our kids with us. Law is 21 over legally allowed to buy alcoholic beverages and walmart is crossing their boundaries. Nevertheless that's not important piece which I'm sure she was doing her job even though bad judgment to card both of us rather than the one who is purchasing it, had my i.d. anyways and nice to know I look under 40 but let me highlight difference of doing ones job and being impolite to demand it and rush the customer therefore there you go with a 1 star review. Overall, customer service needs attention and walmart neglects training associates to provide friendly shopping experience

Around 7pm 08/29. Went to exchange a waffle maker that was clearly used, without a receipt for the same product, and we purchased it at a different Walmart further away. The white man that was assisting us told us he couldn’t process the return and could only be exchanged for the same item, but this Walmart didn’t have it in stock. I asked to speak to a manager to see if I could at least get store credit, and she arrived there, but the man would just interrupt and say that it was store policy to not give store credit for it and that I’d have to drive back to the Walmart I purchased it at, and the manager just accepted that response. I asked to speak to the store manager but apparently he was gone for the day. Since they both didn’t want to help me, I went to the Walmart on Saratoga Blvd. Tell me why the lady there took my return, apologized for the item being used, and gave me store credit so I could purchase another waffle maker and the process took no longer than a minute. The white man that processes returns here needs to be re-trained, as well as the “manager”.
