Im from Corpus Christi Texas, an moved away years ago. I visit family that still lives there. Meeting the man (an dog) that runs this shop was the best experience I've had on my trip home. The help an kindness was just other worldly, an a really refreshing feeling that people like this still here an close to home. Thank you. An THE BEST SHOP IN TOWN !

Yall! My husband is blind and wanted to demo a kayak. He has had others before but wanted to try this specific one. Wind and wave met us on a Saturday, brought 3 guys with them and helped my blind husband get in the kayak, pedal out and then showed him out to use the peddles. First class service! Super knowledgeable, thoughtful of his disability, and good people.

I've heard this is the only major surfboard rental shop by the national seashore. We rented out their full selection of beginner boards, which was only five, so we had to go to another shop afterwards. The service was amazing as the guy at the shop was very attentive and helped us load and strap our boards to the car. The boards were Surftech and were good quality. The shop was very big and had so much apparel and gear.
