I used to be a regular here. Thought we would try it again after a long hiatus. When we came for William Beckman you let everyone stand out on the dance floor after telling us you weren't. All Hat No Cadillac, 30 minutes or more in line for a $5 beer with only 2 very slow bartenders. Won't be coming back.

It was a fantastic venue for some Bob Schneider! This iconic dancehall was on my bucket list, and it didn't disappoint. AND, Bob gifted a spectacular show. It was my first time to see Bob too, so it was a great night all around!!

Don't come here just for a drink. They wanted a $15 cover charge just to get a drink at the bar, even with no live music. I laughed and left.

A wonderful, old school dancehall, where the sounds of the bands are rich and so good! The dance floor is perfect, especially when it’s packed with dancers. Service is great, but when it’s crowded, be patient.

Love this place. Especially great with a good band playing non-stop dance music. But hard to believe they ran out of Lone Star beer about half way through the evening. Especially when the band was Dale Watson and the Lone Stars!

Coupland Dancehall and restaurant hosted my large company Christmas party for 100+ people and it was perfection! From the initial communication to the planning, the food (and the donuts!!) and the follow up - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you Abbey for a wonderful evening!

We drove down to Coupland, TX's iconic dancehall last night to hear Donna, while we're waiting on their album to debut, and caught Bob Schneider, too, in the coolest, intimate, old-time Texas setting. The brisket sandwich and smoked sausage boxes were delicious, btw, so save your appetite- they'll feed you well. The proprietor, Abby, is the real deal. She knows music and pulls in the best musicians! Come on down from wherever you are, slide into the slow lane and enjoy music the way it's supposed to be- live! xo
