“I was in this store and had my balloons blown up with helium. I walked outside and that promptly blew away. So I went back in to purchase more and Anna and the other gentleman with her were working behind the counter. They were so kind and helpful and Anna paid for my replacement balloons herself!! So sweet. The store has been remodeled and looks great! Thanks again for such great customer service!!”

“Went in here today and I really like this Kroger. The manager, I think he's pretty new there, was very helpful. He held on to an item for me because I had forgot my wallet and it was the last item of its kind. I think the staff is friendly and there is a woman who always gives my son a sticker when we shop there. I really like the staff at this Kroger. I highly recommend this location!”

“The best store around, but don’t tell those Kroger folks :). We love our Forney Brookshires. John in the butcher shop is the best, very professional and friendly. Excellent selection of fresh cuts, specialty pre-prepared items, and seafood! Pharmacy has always been our go to as well. Just the best store! If you did have an issue or suggestion the manager is very quick to respond and provide a solution. Thank you guys!”

“Very nice, well maintained store. With Walmart nearby, this store never feels crowded. And especially with the new self-checkout lanes it is very easy to get in and out with a few items very quickly. Has everything you need - you just might pay a little more for the convenience. And honestly that price is worth staying away from Walmart!”

“Described by more than one friend as the best TexMex in the Denton area, my friends Roy and Beth took me to the Krum location to feast on tilapia tacos, chicken and beef, It was good, except for the queso, which was watery and just not that tasty. I find it impossible that they don't know how to make queso since anybody with some velveeta and rotel chillies can whip it up in a microwave. It's the old double the price of your meal with the appetizers trick.”

The two cashiers / employees were courteous to each other while I was there. I had no problem finding the items I went in for, AND I appreciated ALL items shelved and not sitting in the isles like at other Dollar Generals I have recently been to.”

“Seagoville Walmart Pharmacy has a great team. I visit this location quit often for my prescriptions and never have an issue. This particular visit was longer than usual only because the medicine the doctor prescribed was not available. The team then went above and beyond to try and find another local Walmart Pharmacy that may have had the medication. I was very pleased with their curtesy and accountability. This Team is Awesome :)”

“Went to get my sons prescription, was gonna use good RX, no insurance. They called me over and said they didn't have the meds, and if they did, it was over 100.00. I was panicking because my son was in a lot of pain. What was I going to do? The pharmacist Karen, saw I was in distress, came over to see if she could help. She called CVS, they didn't have it either. She called the ER that called it in, together they found something that would work. Anywhere else would have just said sorry, we don't have it. I just really want to thank her for caring and taking the time.”

“Normal Dollar General setting. 2 employees helped with a customer rush. Which kept wait time to a minimal. Employees were friendly and very helpful. This particular store looks to have every household item that would be needed for any type of shopping. Food, cleaners to alcohol beverages. Plenty of parking for all vehicles including small truck and trailers.”

“Now this it's customer service! Mr. Albert provides more than just customer service. He is kind and friendly to everyone. Even those he's not helping. I saw this man help an elderly lady by scanning all her items and bagging them in the self checkout lane. Every person that walked by he would say hello to while helping. This gentleman needs to be recognized for his kind nature, warm heart and the ability to make someone happy with a brief conversation. It's been a busy day and I was a little cranky until now. Thank you Mr. Albert! I don't live near this Kroger but I will now come out of my way for this type of warmth. More than service, it is a welcome home.”

“This is the quintessential small town grocery store, and just a stone’s throw away from home. Super convenient location and great staff! And it’s clear that these ladies and gentlemen remember their customers and genuinely care about what’s been going on in their lives. Trust me, your Walmart cashier will never remember your face like these folks do.I’ve run across some very pleasant little surprises here - like chopped nopalitos, which are a delicious and healthy addition to tacos. It’s also nice to see some veggies on major clearance every now and then, whether they end up in that night’s dinner, provide seeds for my garden, or feed my compost bin. Local jarred treats and wines are a nice touch.I am also very appreciative of their connection to the community. A while back, they collected donations of sports drinks for the Crandall fire department.Three little disappointments however - and they may or may not apply to other visitors…1. Ingredient quality. The “fresh” beef is often more brownish-green than red. I generally don’t trust the meats here. And the prices aren’t that great either. Bell peppers have that “tire fire” smell, which always comes back to haunt me. Mushrooms have grown “fur” within a few days of purchase. Cheese selection is heavily processed; I would love to see some real mozzarella balls for a change.2. Some items live and die on these shelves. I picked up a medicine for cats, only to realize that it had expired *years* ago. Glad I noticed before checking out!3. It’s difficult to find allergen-free items, namely wheat/gluten free. I know I’m not the only Crandall resident with that need. Something as simple as a GF cake mix or frozen pizza (even if it’s one of each) isn’t too much to ask for. Right…?All in all, I appreciate the tight-knit feel of this location and will return for years to come.”
