This was my first time here. The food was great!!!! I had the smothered pork chop with yams and string beans. The cornbread was sweet and buttery just like I like it. I asked for a sample of the yams because everyone cannot cook them, wonderful and not too sweet... overall very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

Had the Beef tips with rice, with pinto beans and mac and cheese. All excellent; exactly the opposite of that other review.

Friendly and great service. Food was delicious and well prepared. Can't wait to try something else on the menu. I recommend this if you want something homemade.
