Stonebridge at Newport is a popular golf course that offers an enjoyable experience for players of all levels. The course features a good layout with many doglegs and tight fairways lined by houses, making driver shots less common on most holes. The course was generally in good shape, with fairways, bunkers, and most greens in decent condition, though some greens had dead spots and greens and tee boxes needed a bit more work. The front nine is more secluded, surrounded by woods, while the back nine has houses on both sides, adding variety. Carts are well-maintained, and the pro shop staff are friendly and helpful. The course can sometimes experience slow play, especially on busy days, and there are occasional issues with overwatering the greens and fairways, which can make putting and walking difficult. Stonebridge also hosts special events and banquets in a beautiful room with great food, making it a good choice for celebrations. Overall, it’s a fun course with a welcoming atmosphere and several amenities, though some improvements could enhance the experience.
Course isn't bad. Older guy at hole 1 is an issue every time we go for some reason.

The course is ok & the food at the 19th hole was really good.

Overall, the course was in good shape. Some of the greens had some dead spots but still rolled well. A lot of doglegs on top of fairly tight fairways lined by houses took the driver out of play for most of the round.
