Would put negative stars. If you don't like people and you don't like when they come in the store, you shouldn't work at a store. Perhaps you need a job in a backroom where you don't have to see the public.

First off as far as the first review, that's so far from the truth. Just sounds like your a very jealous female that's out to ruin the reputation of a good person, beautiful woman and awesome business. My husband and I frequent the store on a daily basis, in fact multiple times a day and the manager is always so nice, helpful and has the most bubbly attitude. I know for a fact that the manager of this store has worked long hard hours; 18 hours a day on many days, to keep that store running. I also know for a fact that she has taken money from her own pocket to help her employees in time of need. I doubt you would do the same "Kate" as there aren't many people like her anymore. There are a few employees there that doesn't seems to enjoy their job but I believe it is due to medical issues. The store is going thru construction at this time and I know it's stressful and the manager still seems like she doesn't have a care in the world. I'm my opinion that just shows what a strong woman she is. I have been to the store before opening hours and she has allowed me to get my fix. I have even drove by and witnessed THE MANAGER walking to an elderly mans truck and poured his coffee for him so he didn't have to get out. We love Food Plaza & the ladies that work there. I think I can speak for the folks of Comanche when I say, the personalities of the women there is what makes that store enjoyable to visit. Can't wait to see the upgrades of the store and the pretty ladies smiling face again.

The manager is extremely rude and unprofessional, flirts with all men seems as if she never does her job and just relays on the other employers. Defiantly will not be doing business with them as long as that woman is around. It's sad because there is a good hand full of hard working employees up there who you can tell without a doubt are dedicated to there job and community and are happy to be there with the exception of the manager who always seems misserable working there, unless of course you're an atractive man. I give a 4 start rating.

I ordered a taco salad to go & Vivian made a wonderful salad in a "to go" box ...not a shell. Highly recommend!😊

Their chicken strips are outstanding. Men's restroom was pretty gross, but I wasn't too surprised by that. Their "homemade" buritos were ok, but for $4 to $6 they're insanely overpriced. Still, that chicken though...

This place is clean, has a lil bit of everything, but the lil mini jug of chocolate milk I bought my son was not only a bit high $1.99, but definitely tasted off/sour

Used to make the trip out to Ballinger from Arlington every couple months, we always stopped in at cross plains to have a burrito at this gas station. Good times.

This place was extremely rude. I had been traveling all day with my 7 week puppy. I got the station and the pump was not working. I went inside and it was a bunch of young kids working all talking and no one helped me. Finally someone took my card and told me to do the pump and get my card when I was done. A young man told me I could not bring my puppy in again. I wasn't planning on bringing my puppy in if the pump wasn't working. I came back inside and once again had to wait with my puppy inside. Oh and not to mention they had dip on their mouths! Disgusting!
