I have been to this museum many times. They have a lot of old cars with cool modifications and a lot of custom build. The baseball card and collectibles they showcase are great too. Cards from Babe Ruth to current Texas Rangers. You can tell they are Ranger fans but the setup is beautiful and the experience is awesome.

I saw this on TV and have some land nearby and have tried to go see it a few times but they are only open Thursday through Sunday. So plan accordingly, but what a hidden gem of a place. The cars are pretty cool and the baseball collection is amazing, especially if you’re a Texas rangers fan. The bathrooms are very cool as well and the little diner area is neat. Check out the gift shop as well.

Absolutely stunning to see so many pristine antique cars in one place. Made my heart sing. I was camping some 20 miles away and decided on a whim to check it out not knowing exactly what it was. I'm glad I got to see this.

Where the heck is Cross Plains, Texas? Danny and Patti Wood had a wonderful life in Cross Plains, Texas. Through the years, they collected all sorts of baseball memorabilia and classic cars. Danny passed away in 2016, and Patti decided their wonderful collections needed to be shared with the public, free of charge. Patti built an absolutely wonderful, gorgeous museum to house the collections. And everyone is admitted free of charge. Mike and I spent several hours here. I'm a big car nut, and was amazed at all the different and rare cars Woody had collected. I'm not a baseball fan, but I recognized almost every name in his collection. I think we all know the names Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle. There are many more famous players in his collection. I strongly recommend you visit this museum if you are in the area. I guarantee you will enjoy your visit. Also, next do is the gift shop. Many car and baseball things, but also some very interesting books that I guess you might label as self help books. All the books are free for the taking. I brought home "The Power of the Praying Husband". It has been some very interesting reading. Do yourself a favor and head for Cross Plains, Texas! Adios!

I have been to this museum twice now. I noticed something I didn't see the first time. Be sure to check out the restrooms in the diner. The sinks are so cool. Great place for all ages.

This museum is a jewel. Beautiful bright and takes you right back in time. The unique sky ceiling really adds to the ambiance of the whole place. They have different scenes set up like a gas station, drive in movies, diner etc. The cars are beautiful and displayed nicely. As baseball fan myself I loved the top floor which is dedicated to baseball memorabilia. It's the small details that make the museum so unique such as a baseball theme bathroom upstairs and a classic car themed bathroom downstairs. Don't forget to visit the gift shop where all proceeded go to the charity of your choice (a choice of designated local charities) There is also a selection of free books. This museum is worth visiting even if it takes you out of your way.
