This pharmacy is the best! The pharmacy team is kind and hardworking.Very personal and pay attention to little detail of my medications.. They are so welcoming and friendly and always think about the patients first. And the wait time to get the covid vaccine here takes less than 5 mins and its walk ins with no appointment needed however at chain pharmacies even with appointments it is a much longer wait time. Thanks for all your hard work!

I waited in line for 20 minutes while the pharmacist chatted loudly on the phone with someone about what he saw on so-and-so's Facebook page. Once I arrived at the counter he was in the background talking about how he had nothing to do and talking about a 10 day vacation. My prescription wasn't ready.

We returned to another pharmacy after our insurance required us to move to this pharmacy. The people at the pharmacy visited with their friends working in the pharmacy about their kids baseball, what they did over the weekend, etc., while people were waiting in line to either drop off or pick up their prescriptions. Treated their customers, including me, that it was a annoyance to help us. Even though we have to pay more for our prescriptions at there, they are always happy to see you, they remember your name, they ask how you are doing today, etc. I would not recommend to anyone to use GATEWAY PHARMACY.

If you’re Blk and have sickle cell Anemia don’t go here if you need your pain medicine… I went here to get my prescription filled cause nowhere else had it in stock. I was told that they would not fill it because it was my first time there even though I didn’t have any medicine left and I’m a sickle cell anemia recipient. I can’t believe that they are there to serve the people and especially the ones that really need their medicine… I would never recommend you going here unless there just is not anywhere else for day’s that would have the medicine you need. ???

GATEWAY just pulled a bait and switch on me. I waited in the store to fill a common px. the pharmacist called me stating they did not have the brand name... which is fine however that meant that the generic brand was not covered by my insurance. When I asked them how much it would be for the generic they quoted me a price. I agreed to fill that px based on the price quoted. 20 mins latter when I went to pick up the px they stated a price that was three times higher then quoted. I asked several times why the price jumped so dramatically on me and they failed to explain it. All they could reply over and over is “the system says”. The way I was patronized for asking a simple question and the rude customer service was not appropriate. Furthermore I could show on GoodRX that the lower price was being quoted correctly they would not budge. If I were to purchase any other product and the price were to jump three times the price on me from the time I put the item in my cart to when I checked out it is not unreasonable to question why the price jumped. When I asked for my paper px back they literally rolled their eyes at me and sighed out of frustration.

The People at the Gateway Pharmecy were very rude. Said they were not allowed to transfer a prescriptions to the GATEWAY MAIL ORDER PHARMACY. Even though I had talked to the GATEWAY MAIL ORDER PHARMACY and got the instructions and Fax numbers for them to use. The GATEWAY PHARMACY employee still had the Gaul to tell me GATEWAY MAIL ORDER PHARMACY does not allow transfers from Store Pharmacies to the Mail Order Pharmacy. Guess she didn't think I would be able to tell I LIE when I smelled one. Should be five Negative Stars.
