I had to cancel my membership because the cost became too much for me to afford right now. Before I cancelled, I reached out and asked if they could waive my annual fee, but the response I received felt dismissive. Instead of trying to help or offer solutions, I was just told I could come in and cancel my membership. As someone who truly enjoyed going to the gym, this left me feeling disappointed and undervalued as a customer. Not everyone has extra money for unexpected fees, and I wish the staff had been more understanding and supportive.

I canceled my Crunch Fitness membership three months ago in full compliance with their policy, yet they still charged my card for another monthly fee. When I called to resolve the issue, I spoke to someone who claimed his name was “Jack” — which I doubt, given how reluctant he was to provide it.
From the start, he insisted I “must not have canceled correctly,” even after I explained that I absolutely had. Instead of helping, he argued with me repeatedly, refused to escalate my call, and told me I could “call back” when the manager was available. When I asked for the manager’s name so I could email her, he refused again — yet somehow they have no problem charging my card without authorization.
When I pressed for his name, he hesitated, then finally said “Jack” in a way that felt dishonest. I asked how they can take my money fraudulently but not provide the manager’s name, and he hung up on me. When I called back, he answered again, repeated the same script, and left me on hold for 12+ minutes.
This is the biggest scam I’ve dealt with in a gym setting. I’ve since heard multiple horror stories about Crunch Fitness doing this exact thing since taking over 24 Hour Fitness locations — charging people without reason, ignoring cancellations, and stonewalling complaints.
I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and warning everyone I know: Do not give Crunch Fitness your banking information.

Just joined Crunch Fitness two weeks ago. Really happy and satisfied as well as affordable. Especially the group fitness classes are really good.

I only paid for one month and when I tried to enter the gym a week later they told me that I couldn't because I was registered as a guest. The people who work there don't do their job well. I don't know if the person who didn't let me in or the person who registered me did a bad job.

Nice gym with lots of cardio machines, weight machines, and benches. It can get really busy, but if you go on the right days and times, you won't have to wait for anything.

the gym is ok . good equipment, but not a lot of bikes. The place is small, and the zumba classes sucks and I wish they had sauna like other location .

This gym has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. The front desk person Andrea is extremely rude and a liar. First off they charged an old card I had on file after I changed it to new banking information. I called and asked them why they did that, and Andrea said because it was on my application. I told her that I updated the information online and the old card was no good. She claims that it was my problem and there was nothing she could do. I told her that I wanted to speak with a manager, and she hung up on me. I called back and a guy answered the phone. I asked him why Andrea hanged up and he claims the call just dropped. He proceeded to give her the phone again and I asked her the same question. She said the call dropped. I asked for the manager again and she hung up. This place is a joke. Its always packed and there is not enough equipment. On top of that the employee is rude. My membership has been cancelled and so has the 20 friends I told to sign up.

Crunch is a rip off! We cancelled our membership and they still took $52 annual fee plus an additional membership fee of $32. Called and spoke to the facility because there’s no customer service number to call, and it didn’t help in assisting with trying to get some of my money back. They said nothing was owed back to me because of some 30 day policy… so what do they tell you when signing… that “there’s no contract and you can cancel anytime”! There are so many other gyms that are better in price and in keeping it honest. The younger generation working behind the counter don’t care.. it’s just a paycheck for them… not good customer service!

No room to workout after 4pm and they need to upgrade equipment or knock the area where there are seats for a sauna not worth $36 a month
