Just awful from a corporate standpoint. The people working here at the location are relatively professional, but their plans are impossible to get out of if you move/wish to no longer use. You’re better off using a local provider.

While I loved my vet here, after many many high recurring charges that came with my dog's diagnosis I was so defeated to learn that for many years my dog was just experiencing allergies from the food (chicken) after moving and seeing a new vet I learned that all his issues were allergic related to the food. I was very angry since I am a college student who has debt as you can imagine and learning that all the money spent on treatments insurance and prescribed foods could have been avoided as well and the suffering of my dog was just not okay. Again, I loved my vet but knowing that a misdiagnosis has cost me to be in debt and so much money is not okay. Please be careful. Thousands of dollars that I will take soo long to recover from.

Dr Moshiri and his vet tech were extremely knowledgeable and personable. All of my concerns were addressed and they took excellent care of my pet.

I had a great experience at this banfield hospital where my dog was seen for treatment. Dr.Moshiri is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. He explains everything throughly and he is super nice! I highly recommend him for your pet's medical care. I was also very happy with rest of the staff, especially Jordan, she was very helpful and kind! Great customer service! Great pet hospital!

I was quoted different prices than was charged. When I arrived when the Doctor started trying to tell me what a bad cat mother. I was then proceeded to tell him go ahead. I'll pay for whatever I want. Please stop and he kept on and kept on and then he decided because I said I would never come back that he wasn't going to euthanize my dying task that needed to be used and asked and instead of coming in himself, and telling me that or telling me that to my face he sent. His nurse in so basically the Doctor has no balls. And they lat you about prices over the phone. They do not treat well and he does not take criticism. Well, and he is very, ugly. He is got the worst bedside manner in my thirty two years of nursing

The people at this location are fantastic and very helpful. This review has nothing to do with them. Do not buy the Banfield wellness plan. After reviewing my dogs care plan, the cost of the premiums was more than the services we received. This seemed okay as we thought there would be more assistance for end of life care. Turns out there was none. Banfield was unable to care for her at the end, which meant that all of her costs were not covered under the plan. After we had to put her down we contacted Banfield to cancel her plan. We were told that these are yearly plans and that we needed to pay $320 to cancel. At the end of the day this plan was far more costly than any services we ever received. I will discourage any person I ever come across to ever purchase this service.

They take such great care of my pets ? Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly care a lot about their patients. Some folks from Banfield even remember what's going on with each of my pets, and ask for updates when they see me in Petsmart. Love them! Highly recommended.

This banfield is the absolute worst experience with a vet I have ever had. My dog is almost 17 so it’s not like I haven’t had my fair share of visits to other offices. After recently relocating to Cypress we decided to transfer our pets records to this location and all I can say is all the reviews on yelp are correct. This place is terrible. Recently my pet was unable to walk due to extreme deterioration of her hip joint. She has no cartilage and when she walks it is bone on bone. This is extremely painful for her . As a result we have her on a pain medicine that has bought a little more time with our baby girl. In order to get the prescription we had to bring her in for a $200 evaluation. We were prescribed the drugs from a Dr. Singh. When we went to fill the prescription because we are running low (she needs to dose twice daily) we were told they were out of the medicine. I was advised they would send the prescription to a local Sam’s club that had inventory. When I called Sam’s club to check on the prescription I was advised it had not been sent. When I called the banfield back to make them aware of the situation I was told to have Sam’s club pharmacy send a request and they would sign it. When I advised banfield that Sam’s club pharmacy said they don’t send request for prescriptions but that it is standard for the prescription to be sent from the prescribing doctor to them I was told that they would not do this because Dr. Singh is out for the week and that if we wanted to have the doctor that is there to send the prescription it would require us bring her back for another $200 visit. There acknowledged that her file showed the prescription as her previous visit was only 8 days ago. So they refused to send for the medicine. Side note. They explained they have been out of the medicine we need for a month. Which means the doctor was aware he was prescribing a medicine they did not have. So now we are out of medicine…and my dog is having trouble walking again. These are the worst animal care specialist. Do not bring your pet here unless you care less about your pet than they do.

Lisa R I am not interested in your reply apologizing for my experience. I see you have to do that a lot. Maybe you should spend your time running your hospital and less time on social media defending how terrible it is.

My dog was happy going there, it means a lot for me, if she would be afraid she would not enter to the vet zone by herself. Also, the guys working there are always in very good mood. ?

Took my Sick dog first thing on a monday morning who has a Wellness plan with them. Mind u he was here Last week with a skin rash and I left them a bad review. A tech Blew up my phone trying to right the situation but of course he was no where to be found. 35 minutes after the doctor walked in, he had no surgeries, just his Starbucks to enjoy while my dog sat on my lap anxious and in pain. Finally took him back but without me and my info, What is that? Doctors here dont Care about their patients, your precious pets. Lots of techs but not much getting Done anytime soon. Im just Tired of this Piss Poor Care!

The staff at Banfield in Cypress were welcoming and friendly! I took my pup in for a routine check up and had a list of questions for the doctor. Dr. Moshiri walked through all the questions with me and addressed each concern. Gidget was in an out in no time and our experience to the vet was seamless. Thanks Banfield team!

If I could give 0 Stars I would. My dog has been going to Banfield his entire life, had multiple surgeries with them and everything g else and never had a problem. This was in St Louis. I recently move to Houston where I wanted to stay in the Banfield database with my dog. My dog had to go in today to get medication refilled. Banfield a policy is to drop your dog off where they put them in a cage in the back. They say it’s because of Covid but in reality this way they can get more animals a day in there to make more money. I was told at 10 am to bring my dog in which I did. 5 and a half hours later with no word I called Banfield to get a status on my dog and his medication refill but was put on hold. After 10 minutes on hold I drove to Banfield keeping my phone on where I stood at the counter to not be helped for 10 more minutes and at this time I’m on hold for 20 minutes. I walked in the back to get someone’s attention because at that point I felt my dog was being held hostage. Upon walking back and past 2 people and not asked anything a woman ran at me screaming in my face without asking what’s going on. They brought my dog out to me 5 minutes later and I was told they don’t know why he was back there for so long today and that the doctor just saw him. I am contacting their distract manager about this as I know all Banfields are not bad but this one needs a reshaping of their workforce.

I love Banfield. Very nice people and they take their time answering your questions and explain what they did and didn't find with your fur babies. And you can get on a plan where you can afford to care for your fur baby.I am a little upset at some comments. So hateful. I dropped off my mom's cat and yes, waited for them to call me. These days we are living in?? Well, have patience with the employees everywhere. Not just Banfield. I have noticed inconveniences every where. People don't want to work! Places ARE short staffed. But getting upset doesn't help. You could make a stressed out employee feel really good by understanding their feelings and stress for trying to be fast . Compliments and it's going to get better hun. I know this works cause I do this. Imagine being yelled at all damn day I'd be a little snippy. All I ask is to give them a break and just be nice.
