As parents of children who have been attending this Christian preschool since infancy, we want to take a moment to brag about the incredible teachers (Ms. Darby and Ms. Jan) and their dedication to early literacy. The teachers here utilize The Storytelling Project from Rice University, a yearlong professional development program that combines early literacy research with hands-on practice. They’ve mastered strategies to help children expand their vocabularies, develop print awareness, cultivate oral expression, and understand narrative form through story dictation and dramatization. My daughter wakes up excited to tell me it's her turn to tell a story.
This storytelling-focused approach, combined with a nurturing environment and engaging activities like lessons on community helpers and visits from professionals, makes learning both exciting and meaningful. Our children come home every day eager to share their stories and new skills, and we’ve seen remarkable growth in their social and academic abilities.
We can’t recommend this preschool enough for families seeking a literacy-rich, inspiring, and supportive place for their little ones. It has truly been a blessing!

My family has been at Chrysalis for the past 7 years with my two daughters attending as infants through pre-k. My daughter, Amelia, is currently in Pre-K and it is our last year there. We will be so sad to leave Chrysalis! We have had the best, most caring teachers and our girls have learned so much! My oldest daughter was more than ready for Kindergarten and I thank Chrysalis for helping her to get there. I've always felt that my girls were safe, cared for, and having fun while at Chrysalis. They go above and beyond for their kiddos and I highly recommend them!

I'm so glad we've found Chrysalis! They have such a wide variety of schedule that you can choose for your child.
They truly care for the children here and have so many activities, events, updates. The entire staff is caring and invested. My daughter Sally absolutely loves it here.
We're truly blessed to have the care of Chrysalis.

Our son Dax has attended Chrysalis for about a year now and we love how everyone knows him by name, knows us and it feels like a family. They have listened and addressed any concerns we have brought to their attention. He absolutely loves and adores his teachers that he has this year and he loves to go to school. We were hesitant about putting him in a program when he first started but Chrysalis has been a great first experience for him and we are grateful for the love of school and God they have instilled in him so far.

My boys Declan and Nathan have loved attending Chrysalis Christian Preschool for the past few years. Wonderful teachers! They have learned so much. My oldest was more than ready for Kindergarten this year, but he brings up that he misses Chrysalis sometimes. Highly recommend to all!

The worst choice I ever made was to take my babies here. These negligent staff hides behind the most incompetent director, Candace who will not accept constructive feedback from parents. I have questioned the director as I have witnessed unsanitary handling of pacifiers, food utensils, toys and neglecting crying babies and unsafe sleeping of my child by their staff all in one day and brought it to her attention. Needlessly when questioned about the knowledge deficit and training of her staff she has dismissed all concerns stating she will not let her teachers get such feedback from us. This facility has cameras but only for the director to access and the family will not be notified when an infant misses their feeds multiple times. Though these are common
concerns Candace doesn't want to be questioned about anything and neglect children behind the doors. Please keep your children safe and do not take them here.

I am kind of disappointed to say I think this preschool has gone lukewarm in terms of christianity. We used to do summer camp before 2020 and it was full of fun activities and christian related activities, but when I revisited in 2021, there was nothing like that. You were in a room all day except when going outside.

I honestly loved working here I don't know why the bad reviews, this was a great place for kids to learn. Everything was reported, at least in the room I was in of course. I had an amazing manager at the time vicky who was helpful, front desk was top notch helpful. Room next door to me went above and beyond with crafts and really good at behavior management. Staff organized. Even other rooms were nice. We sang worship songs etc & when I worked there, I taught them the Bible, they had made sure we got breaks daily. Clean, relaxed environment. It was awesome here. I really think the bad reviews are so sad for me to see, as I genuinely loved this job and place here. They even had staff appreciation day, free meals, and stuff like that. My favorite was how we had camera in each room to print pics for Mother's Day etc. for each student. I don't work here anymore but when I did, it was perfect here. What a great place to send your kid or even start working. I would say if you really want to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone, try a job here in daycare, it's really going to grow you as a teacher :)

The people that work here are good people that do their best however if your child has behaviors they are not the best fit. I interviewed and gave detailed information about behaviors and was assured that they could handle it and would love to have him. Fast forward and it wasn’t long before they were calling suggesting my son is autistic and needs Aba therapy. As a sped teacher of autistic students I was 90% sure he wasn’t autistic but sought a professional. we’re now 100% sure he isn’t autistic. Now he wasn’t kicked out but we were persuaded to remove him because we were informed his new young teacher gave them an ultimatum that he was gone or her. They informed me they would be keeping him with her.My son is a difficult child with suspected severe adhd. But 100% of behaviors were discussed in an interview. And when behaviors happen they keep kids at the front and refuse bathroom breaks (every one of his two accidents happened because he wasn’t allowed to go potty). My son was 3.

I brought my kids from another daycare where they would fight me on going into class, and they could never tell me what they learned that day.Ever since I switched them to chrysalis my kids forget to tell me bye, they are running to their class so excited everyday, when I pick them up I hear so much about what they Learned and what they did. I am so happy and so grateful for chrysalis. I have a schooler and a 3-4 year old.

The School itself is AWESOME but some of the Administration is BIAS, reading the Mission Statement don't line up with the actions that has taken with my grandson, each one teach one!I work with students on a daily basis, I'm every position under the School District umbrella, NEVER HAVE I KICKED A STUDENT OUT OR GAVE UP ON THEM BECAUSE OF ANY ACTION. OR SITUATIONTHAT CAN BE CONTROLLED AND THEIR OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER BUT WHAT I DO IS TALK, WORK & WE COME UP WITH A SOLUTION TO ALL DIFFICULTIES THEY ARE GOING THRU(TEACHABLE & REACHABLE)AT THE END OF THE DAY I'M THERE FOR THE STUDENT TO MAKE SURE I CAN INSTILL ALL I CAN FOR THEM TO STAY ENCOURAGED AND BECOME WHO GOD CALL THEM TO BE. What The devil meant for evil, GOD MEANT FOR GOOD, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE TEACHERS THAT' GENEROUSLY WORKED WITH MY GRANDSON & PARENTS THAT KNEW HIM GOD KNOW WHO U ARE(???)TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
