All the bad reviews about the Tire Center at Cypress are actually valid. Brought 4 new tires from them and got them installed. Several reasons from my perspective but I will keep this as objective and civil as possible:
1. Balancing was extremely poor. Drove out after installation and felt like I was driving a meat blender with vibrations at speed (60mph). Took another appointment one day later and went back. Told to wait and they told me they would check the front and if it appeared off, they would check the rear as well. Front was off but rear was not checked. Ad verbatim from the tech: "Not sure why they were off but they are now balanced to spec". Took the car and rear wheels now feel off balance.
2. TPMS - Based on my prior experience, the TPMS on a 7 year old car need to be replaced else they will start flashing. I brought 4 OEM sensors and asked them to be replaced at the time of tire installation. Told they could not replace non Costco sensors and so I asked them to replace mine with Costco ones. Got the car back. No TPMS done. Told that the sensors were fine and they would not recommend replacement. Drove out the door and 3 miles later the TPMS sensor started flashing. Took back the next appointment and they checked and told me that the left wheel sensor was dead. The Costco sensor was apparently not compatible as "your car is a hybrid and our sensors do not work with hybrids" . Really??? So your sensors don't work on my car and you don't want to replace the sensors which are compatible that I bought. Solution as per tech: "You can try Discount tires as they have a large selection of sensors and should be able to help you". Then why did you waste my time and money advertising for tire service and TPMS service on your website? So I could spend my money twice and waste three times the time buying tires and getting them installed at your place???
3. Lost Lug nut key: The print out receipt states that Key was left in my cup holder but nowhere to be found. Went back and they looked - not there. One great guy said he will check video. Disappeared for 15 mins and then came back and told me he saw himself personally placing the key in my cup holder on video. Awesome except my lug nut key appears to have flown out of the cup holder by itself. Needed to drive to my unofficial Lexus garage for them to remove the lug nut lock with their master key and replace with a regular lug nut while awaiting a new key and lug nut set - another 64.00 plus taxes.
Overall, Thank you Costco tire center - will never ever return or buy another set of tires from the tire center.
If you are desperate enough to buy tires from Costco:
a. pls check Lug nut lock before you drive away.
b. bring it right back if your tires don't feel balanced.
c. Ensure your TPMS sensors are in good shape. If not, it would probably be easier to get aftermarket installed on your old tires and then schedule new tire installation at Costco so that they can install the new sensors your new tires without violating their policy or needed to redo installation and balancing again after replacing the TPMS sensor elsewhere.

Stay away from this place. Horrible service. They don’t have knowledge people. They give you misleading information that now is costing me not been able to replace my tires for 2 weeks. Now I can’t drive anywhere with bad tires. There system sucks. It takes over a week to cancel an order and another 3 days to get my money back. I do not recommend them. They would get zero stars from me.

I bought a battery on 07/23 of last year. I was on the road yesterday, I had another driver fix my car, I was sure it was the battery. I got to Costco and then was told the battery was defective. He said that you have a 36-month warranty. I brought my battery and he charged me an extra $54. I asked him why you took extra money from me. You said you used the battery, of course I used it, but I brought it because the battery was faulty. He said that these rules existed before. They charged me extra for my 36 month warranty.

I would give 0 or negative rating. I just had the worst experience with the tire center customer service. I have purchased 4 tires from them on march 2023 (Not even a year have passed). Somehow one of my tires got flat and the damage was irreparable. And since costco had the road hazard I was its best to recall the warranty. Long story short I went to costco at the scheduled time and because of their "safety policy" I was told to buy two tires. The reason was the tire on the other side had about 60% of treads left. I didnt want to spend money for two tires and wanted to get the other tire inspected and possibly buy one more tire to be compliant with their policy. The representative told me to wait even though it was 1:20pm and my appointment was at 1:00pm. I was sitting in my car for another hour and never got a call. Finally I went to discount tires and I got the tire replaced throgh them. Never using costco for tires again.

Don’t come to this location. Customer service is terrible and recently one of their employees (long hair with a middle part) stood in front of my car and cussed me out and continuously honked at me for trying to park in one of the tire air pump spots. I was waiting for the person previously pumping their tires to fully reverse out so I can go in. Like is this the kind of employees they’re hiring these days?

Came here today to get 2 new tires. I have never used Costco for tires even though we have been members for many years and I will never again. I paid for 2 new tires and I had a small nail in a tire I wanted them to check if it needed patched. They charged me $10.99 to patch it. They didn't patch it and refused to refund me. They said they still inspected it so the charge was warranted. There was a new guy working the front (nice looking black man) and he was very pleasant. The so called manager, Bryan was incredibly rude and condescending to him and as a customer I felt awkward being in the middle of multiple interactions between them. Very disappointing experience.

Bought tires here many many times the tire shop floor manager at Cypress was very sarcastic as I said I’m just shopping around told him dealership quoted me a certain price his Costco price was almost 180 more per tire not arguing that point but for him to say why didn’t you get them at your dealership,I was about to say dude I’m shopping around but he then said if I were you I would of bought them yesterday don’t understand why your here. Wife looks at me like please don’t loose it but I stayed cool, I could of showed him the receipt quote from my dealership but I’m not lowering to this nonsense. Costco is awesome but guys like these gotta go!

Got new tires put on yesterday. Was “pleasantly” surprised to find they didn’t balance my tires well (if at all) when I got on the highway this morning. Now I get to waste time taking the car back to fix it.Edit: Took the car in to have the issue addressed. Was told we could not drop off early even though someone else had told us we could. Bryan was very condescending and cut me off before even letting me explain the issue being felt in the car after they placed the new tires. He immediately tried to call it a mechanical issue. Excuse me….. we have to go back again tomorrow to finally get this fixed. We will absolutely never use this tire center again.I spoke with management about the way Bryan spoke to us and apparently this is an on going theme with him. I would like to know why such a great company (overall) is allowing such a rotten apple to stay around.

The Costco Tires center on the North West freeway can get you in and out on a set of new tires at a reasonable price with great road Hazzard warranty. Costco makes easy to buy great times for almost any vehicle. They often run promotions on top brand tires.
