My favorite HEB!! Always pick my local HEB over any other! This location not too big & not to small! They have everything I need here and I know this store like the back of my hand! Always the freshest quality in produce!

Lots of H‑E‑B branded products. Great wine selection. Lots of prepared foods. (Just had a sandwich tray for a Christmas Eve party).

Their cakes are visually appealing. If I need a cake and want it to look nice \\u0026 not sloppy I am getting it at this location. They had other sweets I haven’t seen at the location I frequent also.

I don't often leave reviews but I my experience here this morning compelled me to. I am originally fromHouston but have lived in NYC for the past 13 years. In NYC it is impossible to find Kolaches, and 99% of New Yorkers don't even know what they are. I had an 8:30am flight this morning and set my alarm for 6am to get to H-E-B when they opened to buy some frozen Kolaches (along with some other Houston goodies )to take back to NYC with me. When o went to check out I realized I left my purse at home, and that the store has no registers with Apple/tap pay. I didn't have time to go home to get my wallet (would have missed my flight), and I didn't want to leave empty handed after all of the effort I had put into getting there. I asked for the manager , Mike Strutz, to double check if any register had Apple Pay. Unfortunately there were none. Mike went above and beyond, and let me Venmo him and paid for my groceries on his own credit card. Great customer service and he definitely went above and beyond! I am headed home with my Kolaches and couldn't be happier!!!

I've been taking Adhd meds for 5 yrs. The same dosage for the past 2 yrs. Im now uninsured & use GoodRx saving hundreds a month and not one single issue ever. Unfortunately Pharmacies/pharmacists hate the goodrx savings & don't really care if you need them if they're losing money. In March, H-E-B refused to accept GoodRx i paid $120 for a $38 rx. In April, H-E-B filled imy rx but used their discount card. In May H-E-B again denied the goodrx discount. I explained the discount would allow me to afford gas to attend my cousins funeral 2 days later. I paid over $120 for a $38 rx, Sherry, the pharmacist then decides she isn't comfortable with the dose & says she'll be calling my dr, who's been in practice nearly 40 yrs. unfortunately I missed my cousins funeral but was eventually issued a small refund the following week. My Dr called my rx in this afternoon. I called to make sure there wouldn't be an issue AGAIN. Sherry the pharmacist answered, let me know know it wasn't filled yet as she was REALLY busy with people waiting. I told her I was just trying to be proactive and get a price but she said she couldn't check until it was processed & hung up on me. I waited nearly 5 hours for a call or an app update but received nothing. I drove 11 miles, went inside & waited10 minutes before Sherry says they'll be filled tmro morning. I said I've never known it to take a pharmacy 2 days to refill a rx unless they were out. She then proceeds to get upset, irritated & very loudly says "she should be on vacation, has been too busy filling rx for people waiting there & how she'll fill diabetic and COVID meds all day before filling a C2 med like focalin in a dosage she feels is too high. She's loud enough that her 4-5 coworkers, the lady at the counter& the lady paying out can all hear her! I asked if she knew she was breaking HIPPA laws by mentioning the details of my meds tu which she responded "there's not anyone listening" One coworker hears her & comes over to interrupt to say it always takes a couple of days to fill rx and says she remembers all the trouble they had trying to get the discounted goodrx price. Her name? You guessed it, "Karen"! they both proceed to soak down to me as if I'm 5 rather than 50 & tell me all the trouble and difficulties they remember having & if I didn't like it I should have my rx filled elsewhere & then adds because SHE doesn't feel confortable filling the extra 20 mg. I asked why HEB never had an issue the past 2 years & why she didn't let my dr know she doesn't approve of his ability to write rx rather than speaking to me in that tone in front of all her coworkers & those within hearing range ? Why didn't she say something when I had her on the phone over 5 hours ago before I wasted the gas? Why did she just say she'd have it ready tmro morning? I'm not sure if she has a personal issue with me or those who benefit from good rx. She seemed so upset about not being on vacation now, she turns to tell a coworker to call management. I asked her "what's your deal? I'm not yelling I'm not being rude I'm just wondering why it takes 2 days to fill a script you said you're filling but now are saying you're not & you're now calling management?" I turned around & walked out while she continues to yell that she will leave it for the same pharmacist she claimed gave out to her to fill last month and let her decide whether or not to fill it. Really?!?! Do you actually think she'll fill it against your word? I'm most concerned knowing people, like myself, need their meds & are turned away because pharmacists like Sherry have several excuses they can throw out but to flat out refuse & suggests they know more than a dr who's been in practice for nearly 40 years & suggests you go elsewhere so they don't lose money is WRONG!

I rarely shop at this location, unless I'm passing through on the way home. Your average HEB that keeps everything well stocked, and provides all your grocery needs. One thing to note is that the deli and cheese staff is pretty top notch and extremely friendly! Very helpful and offer any assistance needed. What I was most upset about was during check out, I provided my own reusable bags, and I also had some plastic bags for my raw meats as well. I did provided that info to the cashier in which the bagger also heard. The bagger proceeded to bag my things but failed to put my raw meat in the plastic bag provided after reminding him. Instead he placed my raw chicken on top of my deli meat and cheese. He also placed my loaf of bread at the very bottom of my entire groceries. Who the hell does that?! A damn good bagger knows all bread and eggs goes on top of everything. Only an idiot would do such thing. It's pretty common sense if you ask me.

I really love this H‑E‑B. This isn't the closest to where I live, but it's much nicer. I pretty much only do curbside. The times I have run in I experienced no issues. My experience with H‑E‑B curbside at this location has been great! Of course, sometimes there are issues with things I receive, but H‑E‑B always makes it right, which I really appreciate. I trust the people here to pick my produce. I've rarely had issues with bruising or the wrong items. The staff are usually friendly, especially when they help me out my closing my gas tank when I accidentally open that instead of my trunk! I also rarely get the dreaded text of "some things in your order were out of stock," at this location. Overall, I love this H‑E‑B!

I was contacted by the assistant store manager six months after I posted this review. I was pleasantly surprised that someone reached out. I went in an saw the department lead Brian. He expressed his dissatisfaction with what I received from his counter as well. Not only did I receive apologies from both the AM and Brian, they replaced my market trimmed brisket point with a better cut that was over two times this cost of my original purchase.HEB is still killing it. Big thanks to Lesley and Brian.

Love my H‑E‑B. They have their curbside service down to an art, it’s amazing. I love that the store managers are actually on the floor working with the kids and checking on customers. The only issue I have is that their tortilla machine has been broken for three weeks now ??
