Hit HEB today for lunch, great options to choose from. Decided on the chicken Cobb salad because it had blue cheese, yummy! Friendly employees, price was okay for a lunch portion. On to show houses with a full tummy. Only thing I wish they had was a lunch room so I could eat at a table rather than in my truck.

This is a large grocery store that has a large variety of fresh food at fair prices.
However, I did not visit this location to buy food.
There is a jewelry store/jewelry repair shop that rents space inside the stores lobby that I went t see.
The jewelr needed to order a thicker chain for pendant that I purchased for my wife! According to a voice mail message the jewelry store finally found a stronger chain for the necklace that I plan to pick tomorrow!

If I could give zero stars I would have. I came into this store June 1st and as I was walking out of the store the shopping cart locked which caused me to hit my leg shin creating immediate pain, embarrassment and confusion as to why it occurred since I had paid for all my items. The employee at the self checkout looked at me rudely, called another person to unlock the cart again confused and embarrassed that made me feel like I had stole something. I’ve been in communication with Modesto concerning my pain and suffering, but he is not attentive as he should. It’s difficult to connect Monday - Friday from 8 to 5 when those are my same working hours. I have an indentation on my shin due to this and it’s stressing me out to go back and forth with Modesto from HEB. To feel the embarrassment of people walking by thinking I didn’t pay for my items and not having any empathy from the employees is unacceptable. DO BETTER HEB!

Lately, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality of the lemon roasted whole chicken at H‑E‑B. The chicken often still has feathers and uncleaned parts, along with a strong, unpleasant odor. The thighs of the whole chicken in particular sometimes show dark or bluish spots inside the meat itself—not just near the bone, which is very concerning.
Even more worrying is that the chicken is often undercooked on the inside, which can pose a serious health risk. Although it’s labeled as “lemon-flavored,” there’s barely any lemon taste, and even the salt and seasoning are almost unnoticeable.
I sincerely hope you return to the original level of quality and preparation we used to enjoy. Thank you for your attention

Today I was quite disappointed by HEB management. To make story short a product ( ribs) was labeled in a way that instead 10 usd was almost 30 per rack. I brought that to their attention. Manager just said I’m sorry in a hurry no conversation. Just dismissive behavior saying it’s a human error. If I were to leave the store I would have overpaid 40 usd. I did get a 10 use gift card in the end but it took a lot of convincing and i know that many who bought ribs that day overpaid 30 USD per one item . Quite disappointed with the conversation, attitude, tone . I had to go back and pick up relabeled ribs myself.

I like this kind of bread, but recently, the taste has been changed, and I think it is because of the dough fermentation you need to bake it earlier, not to wait too long I wanted to buy it today . But I decided not to buy it

The quality and quantity of this place have seen better days. I bought these nectarines here less than 24 hours ago, and the rotted instantly. At this HEB I have also had the very same problem which other produce including (but not limited to): zucchini , green bell peppers, honey crisp apples, jalapeños, watermelons cilantro, avocados, green onions etc. When they are sold they are virtually frozen which makes it incredibly difficult to pick good produce. They obviously are buying way too much and selling it as it rots, or there is a serious problem with the management of this store/department. I now buy very little, the day I need it, because otherwise I am literally throwing my money away.

I LOVE HEB! I usually order my groceries online and pickup them up curbside. The curbies at this location are so nice. I haven't ran into a rude one, yet. I've shopped here for a long time. Not sure who trains them, but they're great at this location! HEB has such good quality products. I appreciate that. ((HUGS))

The attention of the cashier, her name is Angela, was very unpleasant. She made fun of us for not knowing English and also my husband, who is injured in his leg, had to go take a photo of him at a price of some tonic waters that were 3 x3 and she told me He charged them 1.25 each and I told him and he told me that if he didn't have a photo of the price and since they would have to go to the trouble of going to check it, the truth is very bad attention and the managers still told them and they laughed at us because we don't know how to speak English

I have been shopping at this location since the day it opened.. many many years ago. I am a tried and true loyal HEB customer, but I have to say that this HEB is not the same anymore.
It is not very clean, partners are rude and unwilling to help. The quality of produce, tortillas and meat has also declined. I prefer to drive a few extra miles and shop at HEB-Fairfield. Fairfield is truly top notch and is what I have come to expect from my HEB.
Today I was shopping at the Barker Cypress location and every carton of organic raspberries were moldy. I overheard customers complaining about the fruit so I walked over to let a partner know and he said that it wasn’t his section and continued on with his business. WOW!
They were very busy this morning with a Kids event and the store was in disarray. It’s a shame what has happened. You have to wonder where is management ..Do better!
