At first, I loved this place and our tax professional, Min Goers. But when we received our tax refund, we were short $2,100 (not a small amount). I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for a week. I’ve called. They’ve emailed her. I’ve emailed her. No one wants to tell us why we’re missing $2,100, so now I have to get a lawyer involved. Don’t ever go here!!!

Took more than half my return of over $1,000. Did NOT explain prices until AFTER they completed the paperwork and then the district manager reached out to me via email stating she wanted to discuss my poor opinion of the facility and said she would be calling me this past week. never heard a word from her since. I do NOT recommend them. Any other place but this h and r block. Prices are absurd and communication is extremely poor.

I have used HnR Block for 8 years and after this last time, I will never use them again. They estimated in December that I would get over $4,000 back, and approved me a loan for $1000 to come out of the return. I went back in last weekend and my return was $270.... Now I owe $1250 to the bank at 35% interest bc, someone can't do their job properly. I can get a loan at 7%. I feel like I was tricked into this. They sent me an email today to try and sign my friends up for $20 each. I wouldn't send an enemy to them.

Min at the Barker Cypress location was extremely helpful. I walked in on the 17th next to the last day and she had an appointment in 20 minutes but she knew I was stressed and was willing to take me in prior to her next appointment. She helped us so much and we are paying the IRS but if I have to pay them I will always work with H&R block and Min. Very pleasant experience under these conditions.

These people do not know what they are doing. If you have anything more than a simple tax return go somewhere else. I brought them my and my wife w2 as well as business expenses for my LLC. The lady Jia, had no idea what she was doing. She kept asking me for documents that she didn’t need. She didn’t understand that my business was an LLC that I got reinstated 2 years ago even though I filed with HR Block last year. She completely wasted my time. I took it to a different HR block and it was no problem. Amateur hour. Don’t waste your time.
