Melony in the jewelry department clearly needs more training on how to properly execute her leadership role. I came in to get my watch band adjusted today and she was completely DISMISSIVE! She took one look at my brand new watch (online JCPenny order that was purchased with a JCPenny credit card) and told me I need to go somewhere else to have it fixed because I did not purchase it physically in the store and they do not carry that brand including to say that they are not responsible if something happens to it in the process. She clearly is unaware of all the brands they carry or simply just DID NOT WANT TO HELP ME. I demanded to speak with her direct report due to her lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism. She never asked me for any helpful information so that she can try to locate my order. The Assistant manager overheard my concerns as he was standing near and kindly & very professionally resolved my issue locating my order in the system to be processed expeditiously. The one star is for him, I don’t give any to this location due to Melony’s poor judgement & customer service skills. I will be writing a formal complaint to the General Manager once she returns as well. Hopefully corrective action will be taken; extremely RIDICULOUS and APPALLING!! 1:30 PM 6/19/25

HORRRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE , I came to do a godt exchnage and I had a gift receipt they return in original payment and then nothing !!! I get nothing , the managers sonrude didn't care it wasn't my mistake, horrible and mean !! They do not care, don't work retail if you don't want to help customers , horrible again I say it horrible, I told Casey to return on gift merchandise, and kim did nothing about it

Love this place the clothes were nice employees were the nicest I got my concealer match here and the people were very friendly! The fragrance area was nice it is a good place to shop for clothes, perfumes, shoes etc. Otherwise I recommend going here.

Last Saturday I went to JCP to look for some bedroom drapes and was helped by Miss Teresa Lucky. She did an amazing job ordering our drapes and explaining the process. If you are in the market for drapery, find Miss Lucky, she's helpful and has a wonderful personality!

I've been to a number of JC Pennys over my time. And this one is actually fairly nice. The zombie apocalypse experience they offer in the bathroom threw me off a bit though. I think they were way too committed to making you believe it's the end of the world. Some poor soul was eaten alive while taking his final deuce. R.I.P. you poor shopping soul.
