I’m giving a one star because I can’t give out ZERO. I came all the way out from Beaumont,Tx which is a TWO HOUR DRIVE. I went in to buy pokemon cards. When paying I was able to buy them but noticed I was OVER CHARGED two products that I didn’t receive. All because I paid cash, I couldn’t just get refunded easily so I had to take store credit to come back to use. Today, I had time to make the drive a SECOND time for it and since I was here already I was going to buy two more but TODAY they said I was only able to get one after they made a mistake and me having to drive back for my refund. There was two left… so I don’t see why I couldn’t buy TWO like I did previously. Only location that’s done this cause I usually buy two ea for me and my little brother. We actually collect and don’t resell knowing how volatile the hobby has been. In summary, both my experience were terrible. From the long drive, being sold two previously(this time one even for the inconvenience), to where products are “limited through the system” but managed to still scan and overcharge me???

I came in to find a birthday gift for my little sister, and Ray made the whole experience amazing from start to finish. She greeted me with a big smile and was so kind, patient, and thoughtful the entire time. She helped me explore all the best options fun games, colorful slime, and the cutest plush toys and made sure I found something my sister would love.
Ray didn’t just help me shop she made the whole visit feel fun and stress free. She’s incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping customers. The store itself is super kid-friendly, but Ray is what really made it special. People like her make all the difference!

My kids and I were looking for a new game and got help from a young lady named Ray. She was attentive and helpful. She played multiple games with my kids and demonstrated how to do every step of each game. She also does crafts with the kids a few times a week. I did have a slightly negative encounter with an older lady here once which ray saw and she made sure that I was well taken care of. Thanks learning express for the great work!!

This place is awesome and the staff is awesome! I went in on a Saturday to get a gift from a birthday bin (which is an awesome idea). They even offer free gift wrapping! The cashier who checked me out was so helpful! Will be back with my kids next time!

So disappointed in our experience here. Brought the grandbabies to pick out some toys for our home b/c I remember how much fun my kiddos had and the variety they offered. Unfortunately TIMES HAVE CHANGED! The teenage staff was so rude. It’s a TOY store for kids! Please don’t touch that. Please don’t bounce that. For real!?!?! They followed my two year old granddaughter and I around the entire store. I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars stocking up. Headed to Barnes and Noble instead. Luckily their toy selection is on point and their staff isn’t rude! Such a shame…

This is an amazing toy store! You can take your kid a couple weeks before their birthday. They grab a basket and go around and pick out the stuff they want for their birthday. Then the store holds it for them and people can come in and buy it. The employees will wrap it up for You and everything. This is a pretty cool place!

I was wildly impressed with the selection of toys and goodies they had! Everything was well-organized and they seem to have something in there for every age and interest.
I will definitely be back to buy more gifts for my nieces and nephews.

We are so grateful to have a toy store in our area. My kids and I have always loved coming here. We are going on 6 or 7 years now of my oldest getting a new Calico Critters set here with her birthday money each year. Yes, sometimes there are places online to save a few dollars here and there. But I do think it’s special for kids to have a shop dedicated to their interests to look around and save up their money to buy things. I also like that they have a growing selection of things for more sophisticated young ladies especially. T-shirts, pouches, hair and beauty accessories etc. I’ve gotten great brain teaser games over the years for gift and of course lots of books to choose from for travel entertainment. I appreciate they are still able to hang on with ever growing costs and challenges. I hope people will continue to shop here in person vs exclusively buying online or in big box stores.

Felt harassed while shopping. Felt I was being discriminated against. Kept being approached while I was shopping when I made it clear I didn't need help. One lady, after telling her I didn't need help, still stood beside me... I looked up at her and she asked if I wanted them to hold my items for me at the register. (I had TWO small items in my hand... that I was more than capable of carrying) meanwhile, I didn't see anybody else being followed. OH, and before I left, one employee made sure of it to be by the door as I was leaving.
