We’ve been visiting this pool store for a long time and have never had any issues—until our most recent visit. On this occasion, our paperwork listed “Alexis” as the employee who assisted us.
We stopped in with our dogs, as we normally do, since this is a dog-friendly store. When we arrived, Alexis was in the back. I walked further into the store because I could see her, but wasn’t sure if she could see me. As she slowly came forward, she behaved oddly—ducking behind fixtures and avoiding direct interaction. I also had a child with me, so her behavior was both confusing and concerning.
When I tried to speak to her, she didn’t respond at first. As I continued to observe, it occurred to me she might be afraid of the dogs. I finally asked her directly, and she replied softly, “um… yeah.” I offered to take the dogs back to the car, and she nodded.
While I understand not everyone is a dog person, my dogs were leashed, calm, and behind a tall counter—no barking, jumping, or signs of aggression. Her reaction made the interaction uncomfortable and felt unprofessional. If you’re working in a dog-friendly store, it’s reasonable to expect that you’ll encounter dogs from time to time, and customers shouldn’t have to feel awkward for bringing them in.

I recently made my first purchase from Leslie's and, unfortunately, it left me quite dissatisfied. After a series of storms, my pool's salt level dropped significantly, and I needed to correct it to avoid water quality issues. I appreciated that the store was open on Sunday, which is a plus. I picked up six 40-pound bags of salt. However, the positives ended there.
First, the cost was higher than I'm used to paying, and when I asked the attendant for advice on the best product, I didn't receive much help. I had to rely on my own knowledge, which was frustrating. After purchasing the salt, I was surprised to find that there was no assistance with loading. I had to locate a non-functional cart myself and load the heavy bags into my wife's SUV without any support from the staff.
When I got home and started adding the salt to my pool, I noticed it didn't dissolve as expected. It just sat at the bottom, requiring extra effort with a brush to get it to mix. This was time-consuming and disappointing.
Given these issues—the high cost, lack of assistance, and product quality—I won't be purchasing from Leslie's again. I'd rather wait and buy from my usual vendor, who charges five dollars less per bag and offers better customer service. My experience with Leslie's was unsatisfactory, and I can't recommend them based on this interaction.

MY DAUGHTER & I HAD 2 SEPARATE ISSUES & MS. DAWN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE & HELPFUL,WE WERE SO HAPPY THAT WE WENT TO THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION BECAUSE A PHONE CALL TO ANOTHER LOCATION LED US TO GO FURTHER. MS DAWN WENT ABOVE & BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS.

Help is schetchy. Sometimes you get really good service, and sometimes you have to pull the information out of them. Way to expensive.

They don’t know what they’re doing.It’s a long story but they don’t have a clue.Go to the Magnolia instead. They seem to know what to do to help.Cypress will just keep trying to sell you stuff and they have no idea.

This is the 3rd time I have been to this location. The first I went the young lady was so nice and helpful but I have been back 2 times since and Matt I believe it is has been rude and unprofessional on both occasions, going as far to say he shouldn’t even help me. My company will no longer be going to this location because we will not spend our money where it is not appreciated.

I walked in the store she was helping a customer she still greeted me. Very nice woman, anyways I knew what I needed so I walked around this store getting the items. The store was extremely clean and well stocked. Their was a pool man in store he helped me with a product as I was coming in because I had to fire our pool guy from not cleaning our pool properly. Will be back soon like this week lol.

Tired of dealing with a rude employee. A shame since the other employees are very helpful. Kept going since it was the closest to my home but at this point I am annoyed with myself for dealing with her over and over like she is doing me a favor. Will drive the extra 5 minutes.
