We’ve been to Sun Auto multiple times and had a good experience each time. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and they have never tried to sell me on something that wasn’t necessary. They have always been honest and affordable. Mike, the assistant manager, is a pleasure to work with, and we will keep coming back.

Went for our annual Texas state travel trailer inspection…in and out in 4 mins! We called ahead and let them know we were on the way and they were ready to roll…! Easy access and olé they of room to maneuver in their paved lot…thanks!!Service: Vehicle Inspection

This automotive service and repair shop is pretty good. They have replaced my vehicles, rear drum brakes, hub bearings, tighten and service, my E brake. The next visit, i’m planning to have them fix and service the handbrake, since it already broke again. They also replace my vehicles, AC compressor, trigger valves, and a switch of some kind.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice. She showed me the customer waiting room and even told me that there were drinks and snacks and to help myself. After they were through the mechanic showed me to my car and opened the door for me and closed the door after I was in. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs excellent service.

I got in my Nissan Armada last week and the air was no longer blowing cold. After research I was worried that it may be the compressor. I called Sam at Sun Auto Service. He promptly gave me a quote over the phone of what the cost would be to replace the compressor and re charge the system. This repair would have been just under $1,600.00. He also said that if I brought it in within the hour that they may be able to have it ready later that day. I brought my car in and was greeted kindly and checked in properly. Within a couple of hours I received a call from Sam. He was notifying me that my vehicle was ready. The next thing Sam said pleasantly surprised me. Especially after having deceitful and deceptive service from several auto service shops in the past. Sam not only let me know that my vehicle was ready; he proceeded to tell me that the compressor was not bad. It was a valve at the Freon install chamber causing the Freon to leak out. Sam and his team repaired my vehicle in about 2 hours for under $300.00. Thank you for being proactive, efficient and honest. I will utilize your services again when needed. On a side note. We also had my wife’s car inspected when we picked up my vehicle.

Picked up a screw in my tire. Removed it and plugged it at No Charge. Very cordial staff. From Beaumont, but will definitely recommend.

Great experience here , came in for state inspection and oil change they were quick and answered all my questions about the vehicle and were very polite yet to the point ,they don't seem like they are trying to charge you every fee possible they seem to operate the way local businesses used to and that's refreshing in of itself, happy to give them my business

We took our granddaughters car for front end alignment. They found other problems. Too expensive to get it done today, we will collect the parts, save money.. and come back. We want granddaughter to have a reliable car. Victoria was courteous and excellent at communicating. Everything was explained very thoroughly by Victoria. Thank you guys for your help with this matter.

My 2009 Chevy Silverado's AC recently quit producing cold air. I came to this Sun Auto location based on recommendations in my subdivision's FB site. I was expecting the worst in terms of repair cost. Victoria is the Service Manager I worked with and she's fabulous. She proposed a sequential diagnostic plan to identify the problem and solution. Turns out, the only thing needed to resolve the issue was a refrigerant evacuation and replacement. Much less money than I expected to spend. Well done Sun Auto! My Silverado is producing cold comfortable air.Service: Air conditioning

I am still shocked by the way I was treated there. After I got inside, I asked for the state inspection service. The attendant, who was the inspector, was not polite at all. He said he had three cars on waiting and couldn’t do it. It was 3pm and I know these inspections take around half hour.But up to here, ok. What shocked me was the way he answered my question… he didn’t greet me at all… he said he was busy and that’s it… he couldn’t even say “I’m sorry”… I can understand he was busy but cannot agree on the way he serviced me. Almost forgot! He just said to come back on Monday, almost kicking me out of the shop! Here is a very gently way to decline someone’s business: “Hi Sr, good afternoon. Unfortunately I am the only inspector today and we have three cars waiting for the same service… I am afraid we won’t be able to service you today. We close at 5pm. But I would be very happy to inspect your car on Monday.”For sure, with this answer, if I could, I would come back on Monday.This would be my first time at this shop, which is less than a mile from my home. Guess what, it was my last.
