Mega beauty is truly a gem and a blessing to Cypress,Tx. The store was well stocked with a vast selection of products, and the store's owner smile (Shonda) lit up the room. The store's manager,Tiffany, was also available to answer all of my questions. I am so happy I no longer have to travel far for my beauty needs... Thank you

I really enjoy coming here for many things beauty. It's often been for an assortment of hair products and braiding/crochet/ extension hair.
From the moment of entry, it feels very satisfying and hospitable. One of the [usually] ladies are quick to greet and offer assistance up front. I always enjoy speaking with the owner, Mrs. Mega Beauty (please excuse me here, don't know last name so will go with this for now) and her daughters. I've learned that she and I believe one of her daughters are educators- hats off to them.
Funny I walked in one Sunday, Mothers Day, and who did I see behind the register? Mr. Mega Beauty. It really tickled me. Wife and daughters were enjoying a special Mother's Day outing, so he was filling in to hold down the fort.
I really admire what I can imagine to be an incredible amount of hard work and tenacity to build and invest, complimented by familial dedication and a passion for serving their community in this context.
All too often there's the story with a corner beauty store that doesn't embrace or appreciate the folks who collectively put them on the come-up, in neighborhoods they would never support, nor regard the many community issues that affect the demographic that so heavily keep them afloat vs. seeing, frankly, human dollar bags. But will leave it at that because the story's well known.
I wish to see a clone of this. I.e., black businesses popping up with longevity and success. Taking it a step further, a strip mall black owned businesses akin to a version of/ even quasi Black Wall Street. Now that would be the start of an American dream to move towards what once was.
So yeah, now three years strong and still counting. Wishing them mega success in continuing to operate and branch out, promoting their brand through marketing, promotions and occasional community events with this store. And may another store (or more) follow suit!

I was visiting Houston for the weekend and decided to shop here for braiding hair due to how close it was to my hotel room. The store was very neat and had many different choices of colors and length for braiding hair. The staff was very polite and friendly!

I had a last-minute work meeting and needed a wig ASAP. She was so kind, sweet, and helped me right away. I found the perfect wig that I absolutely adored, and to top it off, I received tons of compliments on it! I'm giving them a solid 5/5 rating because my expectations exceeded.

I had a kind and welcoming experience in Mega Beauty Supply today. I asked about the establishment being black owned and was informed that it was black family owned. The store is neat, very organized, and the music is vibe. The owner who supported me today was a delight. She was welcoming, kind, and even asked about my business endeavors. I’m appreciative to know that I have a new “go-to” beauty supply on my side of town.
