My daughter tried to give herself bangs and as you can imagine turned out to be a disaster. I called for a last minute appt before they closed and they were so accommodating. I took her around 5:45pm and they finished everything right before they closed at 7pm. They gave her a sassy haircut with bangs, to hide the ones she tried to cut herself. I also asked if they could put blue on her ends and it was so good, now I want color in my hair! The price was affordable but I would’ve paid anything because she’s been beaming since she saw herself in the mirror. Absolutely the best decision taking her to Modern Salon!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE JOB, I sent my wife to get her hair done and blow dried and they did NOTHING TO IT. They were also Sooo mean to my wife and racist to her to the point where she cried. They said $35 in the phone and they charged her $20 cash and still charged $35 in the card. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

My first visit here and im so happy with my haircut. Ive only had one person for years touch my hair, so this was a bit of nerve wrecking experience.
Thank you so much, Manny, for your beautiful work. It was a quick and smooth cut. I love that they wash and blow dry your hair, that's always a plus. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Very quick, professional and kind. The lady did put turn on the heat a bit more than required at one point but quickly went low when I asked. Do be clear about what you want with a picture preferably to get what you want. They are good but need clear instructions.

We just moved to the area and a neighbor recommended modern salon So my almost 16-year-old wanted to go be independent and go to the salon herself. I was extremely nervous as my daughter has a massive amount of hair that is long and she wanted to go shorter. Trying to be a supportive (Non-Hovering) mom I dropped her off and ran a couple errands. I was even more nervous when she messaged me that she was almost done and getting blow-dried. By the time I came back she was done. She came out so happy. Her hair looked so beautiful. She told me that three of them worked on her and she has never felt so well taken care of at a salon They were playing with her hair and telling her such nice things. She had such a boost of confidence. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby We will be back and I highly recommend you guys. Seriously thank you

This place is not good, my daughter went there to just get a hair cut and style and they told her she has to bring her own products. My daughter is African American but her hair isn't and they still couldn't get the job done. I will not be using this place again.

Have been a customer since they opened. Always have received very good service. Everyone is friendly. Sometimes the process seems long but that is how long it takes for all the steps. On top of all the good service is the reasonable price which really is nice. I think that at the price they charge and the good service you can’t expect to be treated like a primadona. I think they are great

I went there the week after the hurricane. I understand they were busy and needing the business. But my haircut was rushed. I wasn’t paid attention to. And I am embarrassed with how my hair looks. They may be nice. But at the end of the day. It costs money as a client to get a decent hair cut. This was money thrown in the trash. I’m sorry

I've been going to Manny for about a year now, I have short hair with highlights/lowlights. I was hesitant to switch, contrary to the thought process, short hair is not easy to style. It had taken me years to find a good stylist and having to leave her due to moving was just hard. Manny has been amazing, I can show him a cut and he nails it and my color is great! I didn't initially like the way I was moved from him to another person for drying and washing, but I've come to appreciate it. It allows me to be in and out quickly, they have it down to a science.

I made an appointment for a simple balayoge with the receptionist for a spot with Manny a week before my appointment. All the reviews said he was great, but he did highlights not a balayoge on my head as sloppy and fast as he could and then kept handing me off to different "hairstylist", plus they left me in the dryer for an hour, I was burning up. Everything just kept going downhill. When they were washing and drying they were tearing at my hair, everyone was so aggressive.
I went back a few hours later to ask for a refund so I could get a real stylist to fix it and they just ended up putting "toner" on me and giving my hair more heat damage.

asked for a trim barber almost made me bold, not sure if there was a language barrier she spoke English. Spray paint they use absolutely smells, never coming back ever again.
