I wish I could post a 5 star review like everyone else but my experience will not let me . After forking over $700 to have my brake pads replaced since then it has been making a horrible grinding noise every time I brake which was NOT prevalent prior to me changing my brakes . I returned the car to them that same week and they allegedly assessed it and found no issue yet that GRINDING sound is still ever present. Now I have to find money after being out of $700 to have another mechanic take a look at it . Will not return and this was my first time there , should have stuck to my regular shop.

Sun Auto on Fry Road in Cypress is an AMAZING place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I had a few things go wrong with my Audi and they were able to diagnose and get me back on the road running. I will always take my vehicles to Sun Auto ???

Usually I enjoy my visits here but this last time had some flaws. I came in for oil change and was told about a hour wait. About 45-50 mins I see my car in the back. I assume it was in line next after they finish the next car. Now about a hour to hour 10 minutes in the car was gone and my car was still back there. I was confused. I saw workers just standing around and even saw anyone customer get their car taken in who came in after me. Well I overheard the front guy say to a customer it's better they get coupons first instead at the end. Few minutes later I go and say overheard about the coupon and decide to give my coupon. He asked for my car and then tried to find my paper work. Couldn't find it and then finally found it and asked the guys if my car was done.He realize it wasn't done and moved to the back so someone messed that up and my car was overlooked. If I didn't say anything I would have been waiting a lot longer without anyone realizing it. I ended up being there for about a hour and 45 minutes. Of course I got an apology but I figure I could have gotten a discount or something for the mishap. It was not my fault my car was overlook and wasted more of my time. If it wasn't for previous good services I'd give lower stars.

If you think this company is going to keep appointments set on their website, think again. We had a set appointment and arrived ten minutes early for diagnostic work. We were told it would be 2-3 hours before they could even look at our car due to working on walk-ins. We called another company on the spot. While relaying we found another company when retrieving our keys, all of a sudden they could look at our car. Too late. BTW, if you need a great place with wonderful customer service check out Strickland brothers. You won’t be disappointed! No, I do not work for them.

It's a late review as my experience was a year ago but given how bad it was, I had to come back and leave it. I took my F150 there for transmission change. They said that I needed a bunch of more work done and made a big work order. Thinking I'd love to keep the truck longer, I agreed. Then they said the made a mistake and what I paid for was a used transmission. I can either agree to take it, or pay even more for new transmission or they'll pack my truck up and I can pick it up. That was the Manager Mike on the phone. 20 mins later, I called and told them to pack it and I'll just sell it, he said "no its our fault and we'll put a brand new transmission on it". I agreed. After work was done (about $13K), I picked up the truck realized some fluid leaking leaking and engine light was on. Turns out either they messed something up or Ford's part was bad and had to be replaced. I asked to check the engine light and turned out it was Cat Converter. I complained about it and Manager "Big Mike" got defensive and sarcastic saying " so we worked on the transmission and caused an exhaust problem". 2 days later they call me and say they have to take the Cat Converter out to fix the leak and if I buy a new Cat they'll put it on for free. I was stupid to do so, and later realized that if they had to take it out to fix a problem now, they had to take it out before to change the transmission and bunch of other stuff. Big Mike lied to my face, trying to get away with it by making me feel stupid. They ruined my truck. I will NEVER go back here nor would I let any family or friend make this mistake. At least until management changes. Horrible people. Although, Travis was very good and professional through the whole thing. The manager is a borderline fraud. Do NOT make the same mistake.

The manager John was excellent , he gave me the advise I needed for my car and what to repair , he saved me $2400 from the dealership. I also love the employees morale and treated their customers with courtesy. I’ve been with this repair shop for the last year and so , they never failed me.

I've been coming to Sun auto for a while. This is the second time at this location and will be my go to from now on. Great service. John was very helpful in explaining all that my car needed done and how much that would cost. I appreciated that he mentioned what was priority and what could wait if I couldn't take care of all repairs at once.Services: Tire rotations

Repeat customer. Ever since John took over at the helm, this place has been awesome. I brought my F-150 in due to a troubling noise and within about 15 minutes, John and his master technician identified the problem (failing water pump). Since it was almost closing time, I left my keys and vehicle with John and the next day he ordered the correct part and had it running great again. The clean shop, inviting attitudes of the employees, and the customer service are just a few reasons I take my auto service business here.

First time customer. I called the day before and spoke with John about a service I needed. He said to come in the next day and they would assist. I went the next day and he remembered our conversation. They took my car immediately. The waiting room was very clean and I noticed a little play area for kids which is really thoughtful. Will return.
