We purchased an office furniture-4 pieces, 2 month ago. One of the pieces was not available at the time , so we were told that we will receive in between 3-5 weeks , usually sooner than that. It's been 9 weeks and we still haven't received it and we paid for it. Very poor management, sales and communication. We will never do business with Texas Furniture Hut again. I regret buying furniture from them.

We were very happy with our salesman Craig he was not pushing and explaining everything to us. Their pricing is very good compared to other stores. I recommend the Hut for bedding or furniture.

I had an excellent experience purchasing here to furnish our first home! Craig was super knowledgeable about the pieces on the floor, really listened to the criteria we wanted, and didn't hover or pressure while we deliberated over our options. Would definitely shop here again.

Craig was very helpful in showing us bed frames and mattresses. They had some great sale items that fit our price range. UPDATE: the mattress we ended up purchasing from Texas Furniture Hut came dirty on the top half and had the plastic covering open that was supposed to be protecting it. We called and asked if the company could send someone over to clean it or make it right in some way since the mattress did not have this discoloration when we saw it in the store, but they said they couldn't help and told us that it should be easy enough for us to clean. I'm very disappointed with this service since it became dirty on the store's watch, and I believe the store should be responsible for making it right. Just be aware when they try to sell you discounted items and make note of the condition it's in before and after they deliver it.

Amir was patient and a wealth of knowledge who doesn’t made sharing it with the consumer. I learned a lot about leathers and Tempur-pedic technology and its benefits. Prices were palatable and didn’t depress me as much as purchasing from a competitor. Overall great experience.

Dianne was great to work with and so helpful. Our delivery arrived on time and they did a great job with assembly. The furniture product is well made and gorgeous! Very happy with our purchase and TFH.

Went to Texas Furniture Hut to look at a mattress I saw online. Turns out they did not have the mattress I went to check out. But I did find a mattress that I liked and the price was right so I bought it! Really a no pressure experience. The salesman did not make me feel like I had to buy, for that I was grateful. But I did buy because I found a mattress that I really liked!!! I’m going to go back and check out the furniture next!

After deciding that we wanted a Mayo ottoman to go with the sofa we had purchased in 2019, we talked to the 3 retailers in the Houston area who carried the Mayo product line. One wouldn’t place the order, and TFH was over $200 cheaper than the other store. So if you’re looking for well built Mayo furniture at a good price, go to Texas Furniture Hut.

Customer care and customer service is not priority here. We went in June 10th to look and found a nice TV stand we liked. We talked to the manager about certain color we wanted, he did say they didn't have it on stock but can order it. We accepted, paid for it and he told us it would take 2-4 weeks which we thought was a long time for a tv stand, but either way we accepted terms which he also wrote on paper work 2-4 weeks. Well it's July 8 and after my wife called he said another couple weeks. I immediate called back to complain and first thing out of the managers mouth was they had to wait for a full truck to ship. With that statement they told me everything I needed to know that they care about profits more than there customers. Don't shop here, I 100% don't recommend any company who goes back on there word and puts customer care last.

Ordered a table and 4 chairs in May. Told to expect the table in June - ok we’re moving here and can do without a table for a few weeks. Stan calls me 16 June and tells me the table is now due to arrive in September! That won’t work for us. The June delay was nearly a deal breaker. Asked to cancel the order and was told that a refund can’t be issued but a store credit can be issued. I don’t need anything in the store but the table I ordered delivered when I was told to expect it. The store has refused to offer any remedy except “pick something else out”. I will take all my business elsewhere as I was the victim of a bait-and-switch scam. Too bad because the table we ordered was nice.UPDATE: I called the store this morning to see if there was any update on my situation and Stan told me the manager could only offer me free delivery. That’s just an insult since I was picking it up myself and didn’t need delivery. What I need is a table. This place is horrible in customer service.

I had high hopes for this furniture store. Reclining sofa was broken upon delivery!! The only nice thing I can say was the two delivery men were more professional than the people in their service department. When I texted them I was told it’s warehouse/service issue. When I called they are all too busy to talk. I asked for manger and he was even too busy! Wow! not a way to run a business!

We knew what we wanted when we went in, and Jim was so helpful in showing us our options. It was a great experience and I’m happily sitting in my new recliner as I write. Less than 24 hr turnaround from purchase to delivery.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! I "special ordered" 3 barstools - the first time, I went to pick them up to save the delivery fee. All 3 were damaged - peeling leather, dented frame, dimpled/wrinkled leather. They reordered and delivered the second time - 2 of the 3 were damaged. Now, instead of working with the manufacturer, they just cancelled my order (and they had told me special orders are impossible to cancel). They want to blame the manufacturer, but I spoke to them and they were so nice and seem willing to work with me. We'll see, but I will definitely not order from this store again. They want the sale, and then they won't help you at all. Donna and Tarik are dishonest and not helpful, along with Myra from their customer service department.

What a wonderful experience at BOTH stores. While I ended up purchasing from the Katy store, Bill at the Cypress store was so sweet to me. He helped me over the phone when I called months ago, and he also told me about a competitor where they had a lot of the brand I wanted on their floor, so I could go sit on as many of those couches as I needed to figure out exactly what I wanted. This is the first sofa I have ever purchased for myself (they've always been given to me and they've always been high quality, so I never needed one before).Maggie was warm and welcoming at the Katy store on the phone and in person. She took me right to the 2 brands I asked for. She also didn't waste my time having me sit on sofas that had less than 2.0 density foam. I am downsizing my current 96" couch to an 87" couch and she even had me lay on their smallest sofa so I could make sure I had enough room to take a nap (I am 5'10").I shopped at Star Furniture and Plantation Furniture, as those were the only other 2 stores in the area that had the brand I was considering. When Plantation gave me a price, I told them I was paying in cash and not financing. They refused to budge. Star was the same way. They must just be rolling in customers willing to pay sticker price for everything! I called Maggie and she got the store manager, Terry, involved, and the price they gave me was SEVERAL hundred dollars less than the price from Star and Plantation.They have already secured the fabric and frame for my brand new custom-made couch. I am so excited and cannot wait for delivery. Maggie was so sweet and Terry was a pleasure to work with. Even Azmine, the other sales rep was very sweet to me. I will continue to do business with Texas Furniture Hut in the future. I will tell everyone I know (and I already have told all my close friends and family) to go there. High quality furniture, world class service, and excellent prices.
