Close to home is a huge plus! It's set up well with merchandise in its own "department" and well displayed. Clean store and merchandise. I enjoy shopping here plus it's easy getting in and out of no matter what direction you are heading on Barker Cypress. Prices are great also. Shop men & women's clothing, home goods, children toys & clothes, electronics, seasonal and of course furniture. Lots of furniture.

Amazing staff! Their stock rotates a lot so I like to go multiple times a week to make sure I get all the goodies! They have so much different stuff from clothing to home decor and they even have a huge furniture section in the back! I definitely recommend this place if you're shopping on a budget

My wife and friends found good stuff there before, so we chose to donate here. I brought a truck bed of furniture, including a well kept glass topped table that's been moved all over this country a half dozen times in the last 40 years. It didn't last 30 seconds in your warehouse before they dropped something through the glass. I'm very disappointed. It would have better putting it out on the curb for free. I won't be donating furniture here again.

Are you secretly a old soul masking as a 30 something? I am! But even if I wasn't I'd likely still recommend this spot. While there were a few misses, my experience was mostly wins. Unlike similar shops I was surprised to see the variety of offerings, spaciousness and light. They do not take a maximalist approach in stuffing every corner with goods, but instead offer an organized two stories of bigs and smalls. Among the offerings, the kitchen decor, frames, lamps, furniture warehouse, and addition of wedding dresses (yes...addition of wedding dresses) were most impressive to me. I took a peek at the women's clothing to find brands like old navy & hollister. Certain items were less than ideal condition. You're not likely to find anything truly unique, but their clothing certainly serves as affordable, functional clothing. I did notice a patron complaining about the smell of an item, but I'm hoping that was an exception because it was nice to see the additional offerings like bras and a full selection of women's ware. I personally do not have children, but there was a small room dedicated to baby items. There were no strollers that I could find, but the other items looked like a steal if sanitized. Additionally, the second floor is dedicated mainly to children's clothing. If you're in the Cypress area, this is a great spot to add to the vintage shop rotation.

Always a fun place to shop at. Great prices and the inventory is different every few days. One of my favorites.

It's very well organized, and their furniture is priced reasonably. However, it is at this point that the compliments run dry. The prices of their other items are incredibly high, and I would wager higher than retail in some cases. The staff are hard line on their prices, and have a condescending attitude when discussing discounting. A good amount of their supply is useless, overpriced, religiously affiliated nick nacks and baubles. Not to mention, they lock their bathroom such that you have to ask an employee to use it, as if you were a child. This and their condescending attitude indicates a general lack of respect for their patrons.

I go to this place because am searching for house decors. I give a big credit for the cleanliness, organization and the niceness of the stuff. But every customer that i spoke to says the price of the their stuffs have gone up so high. As per those customers, “ when it first opens its cheap” What happened? Inflation? You are not affected by inflation, these stuff are all used and donated. Owner of this place should be more considerate and not only after his/ her big profits. I saw this one item in a retail store and price is lower than in this place. Please give attention to my comments for the benefit of the many patrons you now have. Thank you

Today 1/12/2023 was my 1st time to visit The Hope Chest. And sadly will be my last time. The place is very neat, clean, and set up great! Prices were ok and high on others. But the reason for not returning will be because of the horrible customer services!!! The lady that checked me out was so rude! She acted like it was a bother to check me out. There was no thank you, just here is your change. She was actually more concerned with what box her helper was going to use. It's really sad that the business is as nice as it is, but your customer service is what is running customers off.

Great resell/thrift store. Everything is priced reasonably. It's fun to see what new treasure have been donated.
