I took my dog in at 7:30 am this morning to get eye surgery and they did nothing and kept him until 5:30pm. I only presume that they kept him in the kennel because when he got home he drank all of his water and was excited as heck to get out. Always have had problems here so wouldn't recommend

I'm writing this review after 1 week of bringing my cat home from this place since I did not want to risk them doing anything to my cat while he was there . Took my cat in because he weren't able to pee, they had me paid $109 for my cat to be dropped off and seen by a doctor. Doctor is Groemminger, she sent me the diagnosis and the procedures needed as well as the bill. At the vet they had me sign a bunch of paper one of them being "paying everything at discharged" and also a pdf was sent to me saying that I will need to pay when my cat gets discharged. I dropped my cat off around 7pm and around 8:30 from a receptionist saying that I could do some payment plan but I wasn't able to get that to work , then I told them that I'll be paying everything in cash when my cat gets discharged, receptionist then told me I need to go back there and pay everything before 10pm. I told her that I got a pdf saying I pay at discharged , she had to go on hold and ask the doctor (Groemminger). The doctor then picks up the phone up with an attitude and i quote "This is our policy and you need to come up here before 10pm and pay everything or we are not going to work on your cat" I then tried telling her that , everything I signed and the pdf saying it will be paid at discharged. She then said ,another quote by this doctor , this time even more frustrated "I'm not going to argue with you , you have 3 options : Come here before 10pm (mind you they open until midnight) and pay the bill , we EUTHANIZE the cat because he's going to die anyways , or you come take your cat somewhere else" . Note that I've never raised my voice at any of these people and apparently all their calls are recorded. I then sent over my card info to them to which they charged my card instantly. My cat ended up doing well got discharged early , which means they needed to refund the money that weren't utilized in the bill. Talked to one receptionist and she said the manager not there she'll leave a note for the manager that handles refunds. The next day comes I heard nothing from these people , mind you they open at 8am and I called to see if there's a manager there at 11am , the receptionist told me that the person that was in charge of doing that had already left. Which means they never seen the note that was left by the other receptionist nor get started on my refund on the day my cat got discharged , I wish they had the same quickness to refund my money as much as they were when they were taking it (gave me a deadline). Please look around for better places and people that actually care for your pets and not your money.

I bring all of my family pets here for wellness and urgent care. My dog was vomiting nonstop and I brought her in and although there were many other patients there, they took very good care of my dog and explained everything thoroughly. The vet tech and Dr. G are amazing with all of my pets and I am very pleased with the care given! Thank you TCVC!

I showed up around 9pm with a very distressed family pet. I was told it would be a few hours when I had called before leaving. I was pleased to see the tech within 10min after arriving. I along with my ailing cat were treated with such kindness and respect during this time. I would highly recommend this establishment for any after hour vet need. Also it was the best smelling vet clinic I have ever been to by far.

I've been here only once in the experience was wonderful. After your pet checks out, the staff does contact you to check up on the progress of your pet. They are quick to respond and helpful with whatever questions you may have.

Update: we had such an awesome experience a month ago when we rescued a kitten (Fred) that we decided to take our other cat to them rather than Fairfield Animal in Cypress. We had been taking them to Fairfield for three years. I LOVE this new vet and their team!! Haven't had this good customer service EVER before. We've been having issues with 'Ethel' that we didn't seem to get much attention from with the other vet. True Companion spent at least 20 minutes checking her out and also a very lengthy discussion to get her issues taken care of. The vet was extremely helpful and gave us several really great options! Fairfield never did this! And, their prices are a lot cheaper than the other vet. True Companion is further for us to drive by about 15 min but the care they give is worth it! Thanks ya'll!!!

Frequent staff turnover Complicated, nervous and unsure vet(s)Mediocre communication and next to zero follow upAfter a year I began to realize there was better care out there for my baby. I found it! LAKESIDE VETERINARY CARE is amazing!!!! In one visit and follow up my shis tzu's frequent ear infections were addressed, explained and treated. I received SO MUCH MORE information and genuine interest in his well being than at TC. I wish I would have found them sooner. LAKESIDE VET CARE, THANK YOU!!!!!

I don't feel they listen. They get offended quickly if you try to tell them there wrong or point out why you feel the cause could be something else. They were rude and the front staff were not informative on hours of visitation or had manners. I will never bring another sick pet here again.

Such an amazing animal hospital. My cat Max became very I'll and needed immediate attention at 10pm. I called around and True Companion was the only one willing to see him immediately. We discovered he had a huge hair ball blocking his intestines. They were able to get it to pass within a few days without surgery. They took such great care of Max and they were able to give his panicked Momma updates every time I called. I am truly great full for the whole staff. Thank you guys for saving my baby Max!
