Nice, clean, well-kept store with wonderful employees. It is a joyful shopping alternative to the supercenters. 09.24.2024 Update: Walmart has turned a quaint neighborhood store into a ridiculously over-remodeled mess. I loved going there; now, I may as well go to a Super WalMart. What an utter disappointment. They have ruined a nice, neat little store with their renovations.

Line was awful, just to self checkout. If you ask the worker standing at the checkout for help, she acts annoyed. Never Again! Get some checkers back. Ridiculous.

I started coming to this store because it is very rare when they are out of a product. They seem to keep their shelves STOCKED way better than the big store on 529 that constantly has empty shelves like it's a Third-world country. The deli counter is always cooking meals that smell great, too. The other thing I notice is that this store is really clean every time I visit. Kudos to management for doing such a fine job. Too bad 1040 can't have management that cares as much as these guys obviously do!

Salaried manager Angelica only gave me half the value of a coupon because she didn’t wanna deal with it. Lazy. Walmart increased all the prices better off shopping at Aldi or HEB even Kroger is better than this place.

Was in Houston last month and found a Walmart that only sells food ( has a great pharmacy as well ). It's not super huge because it's a supermarket only. It was easy in and easy out. The variety of foods is like a normal grocery store here in the northeast. It was a very clean store . Enjoyed the low prices. Oh!!!! I forgot to mention that outside the store was a Walmart gas station!!! Yes! Gas station ! The gas pump prices are Aug 2024 !
