We (Me and my husband) went to Greer Farm for Blueberry and Blackberry Picking. It was a wonderful experience. The farm is beautiful. There were lots of berries, we spent hour and a half picking berries. The host was very sweet and warm. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Our visit to Greer Farm in March 2024 was fantastic! New owners Brent and Aimee Gilmore were the best I’ve ever had. They were extremely kind, helpful, and entertaining, too! I highly recommend Greer Farm as one of the best destination spots for cabin rentals in the country. Totally unique experience touring the farm full of all sorts of animals and berries. We will be back! I’d live there full time if I could. So beautiful and peaceful. We even took home some fresh eggs, preserves, and beef, too! The ground beef from their farm is the best I’ve ever had. Check them out if you get the chance!

Do not recommend. Paid $620 for 2 nights, lodging only. Accommodations are highly overpriced and property is in desperate need of maintenance upkeep. Photos as of 7/23/23. Comparable nearby option is Daingerfield State Park cabins at half the nightly rate of $95/night.

We were here a long time ago and it was fabulous! It’s look like they’ve done nothing but continue that path. I’d love to get back some day.

The berries that we went to pick were abundant and the setup was easy to use. We were delighted with our Harvest! We stayed in the Littlest Longhorn cabin which was clean and had everything we needed! The owners are delightful and have a natural and organic philosophy about running a farm. We recommend this place very highly!

The Greer Farm is a hidden gem! You can have a farm experience in a beautiful and cozy location. The front view lake is perfect to have a sit and just relax and enjoy the view. Susent also gives you perfect pictures! Sid and Eva are the owners they were very fast to answers questions during booking. What to do there: feeding animals farm (horse, chickens, even a zebra!), also there are pigs, goats, geese. Picking berries, smores in fire pit, barbecue, swim in the lake, paddle, kayking. It is a perfect getway! There is a state park 10min from there that worth the visit too! The cabins: well equiped (items are a little old but all worked well). Confy bed and clean nice sheets and towels. The only thing I would suggest is the cleaning that could be a bit better. We found opened crackers package from previous guests on the floor near to the sofa bed and also pet fur. There are only 4 cabins so you can feel that is quite a private location and VERY quiet. I highly recommend to stay in Greer Farm, out family had a very pleasent time there! Thank you Sid and Eva!

A real farm experience...pick your own blackberries and blueberries...or buy those already picked. Also a fantastic selection of farm raised frozen meats...I bought lamb chops.

This is our third visit. We love it here. The more of ten you come the more you find to enjoy. My family’s favorite part is the water activities on the small private lake. Both my grandsons learned to paddle, kayak and row here. The youngest one loves the tree house overlooking the chicken yard and playing in the sand. He also has a favorite goat. My son and daughter-in-law love the cats and dogs. I love all the animals especially the “rescue “ zebra. Very peaceful, beautiful isolated area. Only 4 cabins on the entire property. Very relaxing.
