Easy to reserve and access
Very clean
Electricity, water and sewer
We kept our 5th wheel hooked to the truck and didn’t level. It worked just fine.
The road and train tracks are right behind the campsites. I slept through all of it. My husband did not. So take ear plugs or don’t stay here.
For me it beats finding an rv spot elsewhere or a hauling our dog and overnight stuff into a hotel and new bed.

Great stop on our way south. Area clean, all amenities working…water hookup, electric and sewage. More than enough room for our 25 ft motor home. Loves personnel helpful and friendly.

Needed to cancel our stay with this location. Was not able to do so with the software and customer platform. Also, called customer service to cancel and the automated response was it was not normal business hours. Granted this was on Labor Day. So, if I am not able to cancel on the customer service software and call the company, then that is a problem. I also called customer service the next day to address the issue. She was very helpful and stated she would move my concern forward. I did not hear back from Love's concerning my issue and did not receive a refund.

Solo travel nurse, on my way to SD from Texas. The Loves in Amarillo was full so I kept going an hour to this one. Only my second trip with RV but it was so nice to make reservation on my phone and just zip in and get some rest. I haven’t mastered backing in and a nice fellow rv’r backed in for me. Perfect for a quick over night sleep!

RV site: this was ok to stay, i thought it would be more noisy, but we couldn't hear the train just a little traffic. quick and easy for some rest before continuing on.

The staff was great, and the lots were clean. However, you are right next to the railroad tracks and traffic. A little bit noisy at times.

This is an easy spot to pull in and setup. There is plenty of room for big rigs. Electricity, water and sewer worked just fine. We did have to level the trailer because the concrete slabs are not level. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, go elsewhere. The road and train tracks are right behind the campsites. I got very little sleep because of the constant noise of the trains and the cars racing by and pulling into the gas station.

Premises was fine; well lit, spots level and clean but the rock area around the RV area should be cleaned up a bit; my dog almost stepped on a hypodermic needle. Traffic was extremely noisy, very busy and very close to the railroad tracks where there are many loud trains through the night. The locals apparently enjoy the sounds of their vehicles and doing burnouts in the middle of the night in front of the store. Due to the extreme level of noise, we will not stay here again.

Staff, bathroom’s excellent. The RV hook up are located in the front very close to I25. Horns, trucks, yelling. I usually like the Alice’s hook up. I recommend going going to Amarillo’s instead of this one.

We pulled in about midnight and was too tired to go any further. We got the last of six sites and we're thankful to get it. It has full hookups and is reasonably priced. You do hear lots of highway noise as it is less than 30' from Hwy 87. Also, the trains are loud coming through. There is light from the Love's store that could be a problem. Obviously, not a place you would stay very long, but good for a night after a long day.

Very well kept spot to spend the night. They have 5 or 6 full service concrete, back in sites. Showers, supplies, snacks and gas are available inside. All the employees were very helpful.

Dalhart, TX was on our way to Hermosa, SD from Midland, TX and provided a good stop-over point for our trip. We stayed the night of 7-18-2024. We found the site to be fairly empty when we arrived but full and overflowing the next morning. We were in space 5 with a 37-ft Class A and the site was unlevel to the point our front wheels came off the ground with our Autolevel jacks. The unlevel problem also made the sewer connection on the back of the spot to be completely uphill making dumping a challenge. The spots are all directly on a busy highway and directly across from a train track and it is a 24-hr truck stop. So with our air conditioners, the constant noise wasn’t horrible, but I suggest white noise of some kind to help the sleeping situation. Otherwise, the convenience and price was right for 50-amp, water, and sewer for this overnight stay. All 6 are back in sites. Good and bad makes this review rating mediocre for overnight stay.

Pricey, but gets the job done. We stayed there one night just passing through. A little pricey, but there weren’t any other camps available at the time. I recommend staying at a Loves site only for passing through only needing one night.
