Mr. Frank helped my wife and I with our Ford Edge when it broke down about a week ago. He went above and beyond to get us back on the road as quickly as he could. He is a super knowledgeable mechanic and charges a completely fair rate. Can't recommend his services enough if you are needing a mechanic in Dalhart, TX.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I cannot say enough about the service here! I called in desperation, being stuck in a small town nearby with a car that wouldn't start. They weren't open, but the owner answered anyway, and talked me through a fix (turned out to be the battery, which was not what I thought at first). Had it not been such an easy fix, he offered to look at it on his day off if I could get it towed there. Without his help, I wouldn't have been able to get back on my way, not to mention his diagnosis was spot on. If I was on this area, I'd 100% go here. They know how to take care of cars and people!

These guys were awesome. We were stuck 40 miles away in the middle of no where with a bad engine coil on Labor Day weekend. We called Weaver and they went above and beyond and got us fixed up roadside and were SO nice. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

Frank was amazing. We stopped for gas at 4:45PM traveling through town and our car wouldn’t start. Didn’t seem to be a battery issue, figured it was a starter. Got a tow to Weavers because they were so highly recommended. Didn’t get there until almost 6 PM. Explained to Frank why we thought it was the starter (all electrical systems working, just won’t start) but he heard something in the detail about what we said and knew all we probably needed was a battery. Tested the one we had and he was right. He and my husband ran over to the auto parts store, picked up a new battery, and we were back on the road by 6:45. His wife Judy was super friendly. Offered to drive us to a hotel and pick us up the next day if we had to wait on a starter to come in. And their price was more than reasonable. They honestly didn’t charge enough for their level of service. THANK YOU FRANK AND JUDY. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

On our way home from vacation, our alternator went out on a Friday before a holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver went above and beyond to repair our vehicle and deliver it to our hotel. Service like that is rare and we are so appreciative to the Weavers for their kindness and excellent service. Highly recommend!!

Frank went the extra mile to get us back on the road quickly after experiencing a fuel pump issue which had stranded us in Dalhart. I hope I don't need another mechanic when passing through the panhandle but if i do, Frank will be the first person i call.

Our breaks when out outside of Dalhart late on a Saturday while driving across country. We were able to contact them just before close and they worked above and beyond to find a new break line and installed it as soon as possible, getting us back on the road in under 24 hours. People like this are why I love America and make it a beautiful place to live. Thank you Weaver’s Auto Repair.Service: Brakes

BROKE DOWN? IN THE ENDLESS HORIZONS OF FLATLAND TEXAS? 1000’s OF MILES AWAY FROM HOME? DON’T KNOW WHO TO TRUST OR CALL?? Call Frank, at Weaver’s Auto repair! This guy I amazing! GREAT mechanic, at a VERY reasonable price, who had me back on the road within two hours. On a WEEKEND! (He was recommended by Bob’s Towing/see separate review)Inwardly, I was resigned to the idea I’d have to wait until Monday, only to pay an exorbitant repair price.( “Vacation” movie.. Mechanic scene :-) I had never told him I needed my vehicle fixed the same day. He seemed to know. His shop is his driveway, amid a bunch of older cars. Don’t let outward appearances fool you. This dude is knowledgeable, personable, professional, and REALLY GOOD! His wife, (Dee-Dee?) drove me to the auto parts store, where I picked up the parts. (Serpentine belt, tensioner assembly, and idler pulley) Total coat for two hours including taxi service? $65!Thanks so much for everything. You are a credit to Dalhart, and the great state of Texas.PS. My experience also drew into sharp focus, the contrast between small independents like Frank,(long may you run) and giant conglomerates. (Like the roadside insurance programs of XYZ Cellular, who said the best they could do was a 5-6 hour wait, before I could even get a tow..On the shoulder of a high speed highway on a January night)God BlessHoward MeuretServices: General repairs & maintenance

We were having car trouble on our way home from vacation (early afternoon on a Friday), so we called ahead and were advised to stop in and told that someone would be there to assist. But, when we got there, no one was there. I guess they were both out of town at events an hour or so away and the one who had answered our call didn't realize the other one wasn't there either.
