Do not walk from this place RUN.I took my truck to these people and he never called me back so I finally called him, he didn't even remember me at first. my transmission was working fine but it was stuttering a little and everything I read said that was common for my transmission, a simple fluid change should fix it. when I called him he was on the phone with someone else and said he would call me back, this was after he had my truck for 4 days already, well after about 45 minutes he never called me so I had to call him again and he said I needed a new transmission, $9000.00 I told him do not touch mt truck I was coming to get it whenI got there the hood was up and they had run a quick test on it so they could get $200.00 out of me and I asked him what the test said and he said new teransmission which I knew bwtter than that. I took my truck to chad McCoys transmission afyer talking to him on the phone, he changed the fkuid and put in a higher quality fluid for $240.00 and my truck drives like it was brand new and chad told me it was good for probably 50,000 more miles then get it changed.I highly recomend McCoys transmission but wikk never go to this AAMCO again.

DO NOT GET SERVICED HERE!! The owner Ghulam is extremely unprofessional and rude. I took my vehicle in because I was having engine misfire and wanted a diagnosis and repair. After the repair the car was operating fine then 3 weeks later BOOM same issue as before. They said it was covered under warranty so I took it back in for additional repairs and Ghulam took it upon himself without my permission to order a new thermostat and tell his mechanic to install it. After expressing to Ghulam that I DID NOT authorize him to do that he made excuses and tried to justify why he completed a repair that had nothing to do with my engine misfire and requested that he be paid $370. TOTAL SCAM! I end up paying $300 after he tried to add “discounts” and I drove off. Not even 24 hours later the hose connected to the thermostat housing blows off while I’m in traffic and my car starts spilling coolant everywhere and starts smoking. Keep in mind this is all from a repair that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE to begin with. So I call Ghulam and of course he had a manipulative mindset and claims I drove away yesterday and it was fine so he’s trying to say it’s another issue EVEN THOUGH my car has never had overheating issues before he decided to install a thermostat THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE TO HAVE INSTALLED. I take my car to a local shop since I couldn’t drive it back to AAMCO because of the overheating issue and the shop I went to confirms that whoever installed my thermostat did not tighten the silver clamp on the hoes which caused it to blow off. Keep in mind they’re telling me this without me even explaining the Scam stunt that Ghulam pulled. They had no clue I just recently got a thermostat installed and was able to point out the issue immediately. Now I have to pay another shop to fix Ghulam’s mistake. This guy is a total scam and I would never recommend anybody going through what I’ve been going through with this shop, I’ve spend $2000 in one month messing with these guys and my car is still having either the same issues or new issues after being touched by one of their mechanics
UPDATE: my car ONCE AGAIN is having the same issue 5 days after they supposedly fixed it the first 2 times, these guys are a joke and CLEARY cut corners for profit. It’s been a total nightmare dealing with Ghulam (G.W)

I was quoted $4,500 dollars for a problem they could only assume my vehicle had. They kept my car for two days and charged a $200.00 diagnostics fee..Went to another local shop and only had to pay less than $100.00 for a sensor replacement.. if you area trusting of these people please make sure to get a second opinion.. Trust me it will save you THOUSANDS .. People take advantage of women they think don’t have knowledge or awareness about vehicles.. always go with your gut. GW had a very nice attitude and was very pleasant . However, I was able to read between the LIES.. Get a second opinion!
I will say the local travel mechanics in Dallas are much better than family owned shops.

I took my car in to be looked at for transmission issues. I was going to be going through my warranty coverage for repairs. G.W. waa so helpful through the process. He communicated everything with me breaking down the claim process and repairs that were needed. He’s not a fast talking, trying to get something over on you kind of guy. An honest guy with an honest business. I would definitely recommend and go back.

So about a year ago I took my jeep for transmission repairs. They had a guy there name Charles he was the one i was dealing with. So he said $2400 for the repairs. Credit isn't good so couldn't get it financed. So he let me make payments through him. Got the $2400 paid off to find out that basically I need another transmission. Ok he found one for me for $800. So about to make payments through him again. Call him about the payments but couldn't get him. A few days later the shop called me asking me about the jeep and what's wrong with it and what's getting done to it. That's was weird so I told them about the arrangement that I made with Charles. That's how I found out that Charles doesn't work there anymore. Ok I went by the shop and that when I found out Charles was pocketing the money and didn't do any work to the jeep. The guy that's there now GW said ok we'll help you out and you wasn't the only one to get scammed. GW found a transmission for but still got charged $900. I got the $900 paid off. Now the jeep is fixed but the only reason why I gave the one star and this review is because I think I shouldn't got charged for none of this and am not a rich man and spent more money than I should of.
