Took my car here to get my A/C fixed. It works wonderfully now but it came at a price. I came to discover these are very dishonest people who will not take responsiblity for their actions. After a week of waiting to get my car fix, I went to pick up my car. As soon as I pulled into their lot, my car pulls up a second later and was left running. I thought, "How in the world did he know I was coming when I didn't notify them I was coming today?". When I got in my car, the mechanic left his dirty oily rag on my dash and left those dirty floor papers. Why? Probably because he was using my car for transportation. I just shook my head, just pathetic customer service. Later that day, I took my car to the car wash and I noticed the back seat was covered in oil and there was oily fingerprints on my door. It took me 3-4 hours to finally get my backseat alone cleaned. I took pictures of the evidence just in case I would have to go back to Aamco. I wasn't planning on it until I NOTICED A HUGE SCRATCH ON THE SIDE OF MY CAR!!! It's not a little scratch. This scratch is deep to the metal and about 5-6 inches and thick. I showed my boss the pictures and he was so appalled that he let me go so I can go to Aamco. I showed the owner my pictures and he had the audacity to say that it was my mess and scratch!! He denied EVERYTHING except the rag! I couldn't believe it. I KNOW people were in the back because when I dropped the car off, I laid my kid's carseat down on its side, when I got the car back, it was propped upright to cover the oil stains. I asked to see the surveillance tapes but the owner is on "vacation now". I'm not done with these people yet, I will be contacting the BBB about them, contacting Aamco corp. HQ's, and getting ahold of my lawyer. I hope they contact me with a solution but meanwhile I will have to dish out more money at the bodyshop to get my scratch fixed. If you love your car steer clear of this place.

They rebuilt my transmission on my 2013 Ford F150 fx4 & spent 5k on it, a week later still skipping and everytime I take it they say nothing shows on scanner or they say can't find anything wrong with it , really regret taking it there

If I could give this shop a thousand zeros I would they are the worst I’ve ever dealt with all they do is lie about the parts you need and scam people out their money I went there for service and my car still wasn’t fix right after they got over 9 thousand dollars and they still tried to get more money 14 hundred or 17 hundred they crazy I took my car else where and they said i didn’t need what they told me i needed they fixed my car elsewhere and it’s running just fine people if you don’t want to get scammed out your money by pass this place they money hungry sad but true. 👎🏾👊🏾
PS: it wasn’t $9 thousand it was over 6 thousand & some change still felt like 14 & 17 thousand was to much for a part i didn't need make it make sense ugh 😩

I am writing to express my frustration with the service at your AAMCO location. My husband took our truck in for a transmission issue and was informed it needed a whole new transmission, which was unnecessary. We sought a second opinion and discovered it was merely a misfire.
Your business appears to be a scam, pushing for credit applications to charge customers thousands when it’s not needed. I was recommended to you, but I will not be returning.
I advise others to avoid your services.

Do you reply to all reviews with, “we don’t have any files matching your name”? It’s my husband’s name, so please read that again.
Is this the same guy in the office chair, eating cookies and surrounded by a sweet-scented candle?
This is regarding your location across from the QT gas station on Irving Blvd. I clearly heard “new rebuilt transmission” or “whole new one” for my truck.
You guys are scammers, and I stand by my last review.

I brought my truck because of a specific fault.
They made arrangements that exceed 2,000 dollars and I stumbled upon the fact that they could not solve it and they simply told me that the problem was the one that I had previously included in the report sheet that they gave you at the beginning, they notified me by phone that they had already found the problem and they force me by condition to have to repair it to know if the problem was the one I had written in the initial report.
Not satisfied with this I receive a call in which they tell him that my truck’s back door was stolen, as they entered their business and stole that piece of my truck, something they are not responsible for they simply stole it being in their hands and told me that they did not take care of that problem then, I feel scammed anywhere that I try to see it, I would like to rescue something good from the situation and I only leave with the bad taste of my mouth that they scammed me by supposedly fixing the truck thing that is not so for What’s next with the same fault and also that they stole a part of my truck that they’re not replacing either
Anyway, I don’t recommend for any reason that you bring something that cost you a lot of work and they don’t even give you the responsibility to take care of your car!

Do you know when they rob you without a gun? Something like this... my brother brought his car to be fixed, they charged me more than 3 thousand dollars and the car left with the same problem, they also stole the back cover of my car and they are not responsible... I literally feeler scammed... Please try not to come to this workshop... it is the worst there is, the attention is the worst, they want to treat you rudely so as not to receive complaints... DO NOT WORK WITH THIS WORKSHOP.

At first, I would've given this place 5 stars, but after my last visit, I'll take my business elsewhere. They claimed I needed a new cylinder head/engine. I took it to a few other people to take a look at it, and the only thing wrong with it was a busted gasket.. no burning oil or knocking in the engine....

Awesome guys, were very helpful when my "mechanical insurance" aka scammers gave me the run around trying to find ways to deny my claim for months and ultimately denying it. They were flexible it allowing me to pay when I could.

On Tuesday my transmission was acting up. On Wednesday I had my 2015 Infiniti Q40 towed here for service. My car has 134k miles so I was very nervous as to what it could be. My first thought was to take to Infiniti, but they told me I was looking at one to two weeks without my car. Even though they offered a loaner, they said it was $269 just to diagnose and I knew labor would be outrageous if they had for two weeks.
After a couple of people on FB recommended Aamco, I decided to give them a call. David was so kind and professional. He said they would diagnose for free and to me that was impressive. He said I needed a new Valve Body. Was told it would probably be ready by Friday. However, they did the work and had my car ready by Thursday evening. I was very impressed and pleased! They did an amazing job at a great price! David kept me informed every step of the way. It's difficult to find outstanding customer service these days, but David is the exception! I will definitely use them again!I I highly recommend David and his team at Aamco! I am a very satisfied customer! Joan

Very Knowledgeable and caring staff. I've taken my vehicle to this location on two occasions, once for a transmission rebuild and the other for some connection issues. I was treated with respect and kindness both times, and I am very pleased with the work done. An extra shout out to David, who went the extra mile to call and follow up on the services they provided. He genuinely cares, and I have never received that type of customer care from any other auto shop. They are very nice ? ppl . They are helpful to use. This place is great. They may share. Your car is totally fixed no matter. These guys are legit they do not give you a run around to fix things that aren't wrong with your vehicle. I will be bringing both my vehicles here from this day forward ? thank you guys so much

On 4-29-24 I turned my Mercedes over to AAMCO TRANSMISSION at 3620 Inwood Rd.Dallas Tx. I was expecting a financial NIGHTMARE. To me it seemed my 1st gear was slow to engage. They checked it out, drove it around but found nothing wrong. I asked if they could keep it overnight to do a early morning cold start, they did and found nothing wrong again. I could not believe they were HONEST enough to tell me they found nothing wrong, most shops would have LIED and taken advantage of the situation. I was so impressed I had my transmission serviced anyway. These guys have my business, I'm sold.
