Went to see Ian Bagg! Hilarious man! Had a great time and the venue was excellent! I highly recommend the Addison Improv!

Comedy, food, and drinks were great. Everything is reasonably priced for Addison and the venue was lovely. Do you guys really need to have a two item minimum? And plaster it all over the walls and ticket checkout like I'm at some sort of budget strip club? Really kills the experience. Brought a group of 8, and we probably ordered 3.5 items per person averaged. Have no issue purchasing drinks and food, but the enforcement really brings the venue down. As the owner or management, I would strongly reconsider what little margin you gain. Most of the one star reviews seem to be pissed off customers about this policy...

Headliner (Joe Wong) was very funny, definitely recommend. However I can’t give 5 stars here - the food was very bad/premade/frozen. Had to ask the waiter to take away my “cheesesteak” as I couldn’t even force half of it down. Calamari also seemed to be re-heated frozen food. If you’re gonna make purchases mandatory via a 2-item minimum, at least offer quality food. Also, 18% service fee is ok I guess, but let’s not push customers to tip on top of that. You’re already getting 18% on the food, drinks and TICKETS, use that money to pay your staff properly.

It has been about 35 years since I visited this Improv location. Things have changed dramatically. The comedians were good, but the Improv has become a disappointment. Prices are per table and location, and there's a 2 drink minimum plus a mandatory 18% service fee. The drinks are of such poor quality that we barely drank any of the ones we had the chance to order. When one in my large party asked for a second glass of wine - it must have been within the first 15 minutes of the main comedian - she was told that the bar had already closed for the night. We were shocked. It was a crowded atmosphere, we could not hear the comedian very well (and we were centrally located), and no one had the opportunity to order a second drink due to the early nature of the kitchen in the bar closing on a Saturday night. Before the show, you had to listen to advertisements over the loud speaker for swag and other items they were trying to push on you, and then you were forced to view basically a PowerPoint of upcoming comedians. Everything was an upsell, and nothing was great. The bathrooms were filthy dirty. It was not a good evening.

Great place, the service is kind of annoying as they require you buy at least 2 items from the menu, and getting tickets is a hard task. But I strongly recommend.

Love the comedy, hate the venue. They try to scam you out of money every chance they get.Pay 60$ for a ticket. But once you get there, they make an announcement that everyone has to buy two items. Then they try to charge you an 18% charge on the stuff you had to order. But that doesn't include the tip.I don't care if they put up signs or have fine print when you order the tickets. I didn't see it, and even if I did, that doesn't make it right. These are garbage business practices that only garbage people would think are somehow justified. If you need to make more money, raise your prices. If people aren't willing to pay, improve your product. Don't trick people into paying more.

Great experience, but PITA for two item order minimum per person.

Whoever works the window at this location, and no matter how many times I come here, are the least likable people who should be there working in a comedy club. LOL. The young lady who served us was wonderful. Great smile and always made it bk 2 the table to check on us and the tables around us.

If you are a bariatric surgery patient DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I asked the water can I order food first because I can't eat and drink within 30 minutes. He says NO drink orders only. I order a drink. Before my drink arrives I see someone else getting wings delivered. So now I have a drink and my wife wants something to eat. 37 minutes later I see other tables eating and drinking and my water is gone. I have VIP bands and nothing. Look at my reviews. I never bash but this is horrible!!!#update: He finally shows up. I ask why did he overlook me. He said he was busy but hury and order.

Perfect for any date night. Small, intimate environment. The artist are so close to viewing site, creating an ultimate- engaging experience. Saw Michael Blackson and a couple other quality comedians for less than $100 bucks. Food and drinks were great too! The Salmon is fresh and tasty…just wish mashed potatoes was a side option. I’ll definitely be back.

Easy to purchase tickets, and easy check in. Interactive show was great, the comedians on Valentine's Day were hilarious. Only complaint is the 18% service charge on top of two drink minimum. So it cost $15 for two waters and a coke, before tip.
