“We went here for my daughter's 9th birthday to buy some curiosities and we left with her saying it was her favorite store ever. The people who worked there were incredibly sweet and helpful. We'll be coming back often.”

“This shop has a lot of cool stuff. Antique and vintage items. If you didn't find something that interested you then you didn't look hard enough. Just kidding...you'll find something.”

“My favorite antique store in Dallas. Whoever picks out the furniture here has the same taste we do. We don’t see many dark carved antique pieces at other stores but here they are abundant. Gorgeous pieces and stunning artwork. The church relics and antiques are really beautiful too.”

“Relocated! No longer next door to Dolly's. More houseware/furniture/decor antiques than trinkets/curios. Great for decorating a new space! Some really interesting pieces and collections.”

“I had the good fortune to place some items for resale with Consignment Heaven. From the first contact to the receipt of payment for the goods sold, the folks at this business were helpful and professional. I was kind of sorry to be moving (and not in need of anything else for my home/office) because they have such wonderful things to offer. I highly recommend Consignment Heaven whether selling items, or looking for well-curated additions to your home or office.”

“They did fantastic work. I have a clock repair business in Grapevine, and my customer wanted this carriage clock to be shiny again. The entire case was tarnished and coated with gue. I gave them the disassembled pieces and they made them look brand new again. They had everything done very quickly (maybe a week).

As some of the other reviews mention, communication can be a bit difficult at times. But they let me know when it was ready and did very good work. They’re a very small shop, and with a small shop, it’s hard to be both good at your work and good at communication; I’d prefer the former, and that’s what they delivered. I’ll be back next time I need something shiny.”

“The girlfriend gave the mama an old German box clock. She said it had been working previously, probably need to be cleaned and it would be good to go. I spotted homestead clocks and a Google search called and talked to the guy. Told me to bring the clock out and he'd take a look. About a week later, I called to check status. Told me the clock was running but he wanted to hold on to it a day or two to make sure it was good to go. I picked it up, price was reasonable, and the clock's been hanging on my wall. Keeping perfect time since. Thanks so much, I've got another one that I'll be bringing out. Matter of fact someone called me the other day looking for a reference for clock repair, and I'm giving him your number. Get ready!”

“Katherine Sterling, owner of Seaborn Sterling Antiques, has an expert eye for a wide range of top-tier antique furniture, lighting, fine art and rugs, and she combines them in the most creative and elegant ways. Katherine and her assistant, Nichole, are warm and welcoming, and they’re happy to relate the story behind literally every item in the showroom, many from Katherine’s personal collection. Such depth of knowledge and attention to detail adds interest and appreciation for the awe-inspiring, ever-evolving inventory.

Walking through the stunningly curated rooms is a lesson in design history, luxury, style and refinement. The attention to detail is astounding—every antique bookcase, secretary and tabletop is perfectly styled with books, art, and other inspired elements that never seem overdone. Everywhere you look, unique objects are elevated by their placement amongst and in juxtaposition to the other beautiful pieces surrounding them, which makes you want to take home entire vignettes.

Given the quality of the merchandise and Katherine’s unmatched merchandising talents, you should visit Seaborn Sterling as much for design inspiration as for any specific acquisition. But be prepared to buy because you’ll find it difficult to leave such an extraordinary collection of high-quality, once-and-future heirlooms empty-handed.”

“Excellent consignment store! Especially with tariffs going on or people who don’t want shipping delays or for people who want to reuse stuff to help the environment, the consignment store is great. Thank you. We dropped off an item here about a month ago and got a check in the mail after it was sold. I didn’t have to call and ask about it or anything. A check in the mail. Thank you!”

“This place is amazing. The items are so well curated and displayed. We visited quite a while with the owners Allan and Gina and it was like reconnecting with old friends. The vintage Christmas selection is stellar. I was so enchanted that I forgot to snap pictures of it. This hidden gem deserves 10 stars! We will be returning soon.”

“10/10 have not been to a better vintage/antique shop, all kinds of booths with different things and the staff is very friendly, one vendor sells a lot of VHS tapes and I was able to cross many items off my list throughout the whole store.”

“???? Our new favorite spot to chill in Dallas. Clean, hyper curated, affordable, welcoming. Thomas treated my wife & me like regulars our first time through the door, so we stayed for a cigar & beer + made new friends AND bought some antiques. Perfect Dallas night? Well I don’t know how it could get better (cuz BBQ and pie are down the block). ✅♿️ wheelchair accessible ramp
+ free street parking on both sides.

HOW TO ENJOY MANTIQUES CIGARS:
1) ?Buy a cigar. They offer all price points (ask for help if you’d like a recommendation in your price range—this is a zero judgement zone, for real). Thomas recommended me a perfect medium bodied smoke that lasted 1 hour and cost $11 + tip.
2) ? Take your smoke to go OR (better) enjoy it on comfy couches with complimentary beer from their tap (seriously, don’t forget to tip, this service is top notch). 3) ? ??‍? Meet new people or throw on headphones & work on your laptop.
4) ?️???️? Enjoy the unique antiques on the walls & in the cabinets. Reasonable prices for unique pieces (I bought some metal numbers for my house + 4 vintage, framed mirrors with women painted on them for $90 total).

⭐️ Overall: A chill spot to smoke a cigar and peruse a small but mighty collection of reasonably priced antiques (art, toys, military, signs). New to cigars? No problem! Robert & Thomas make cigars approachable, no judgement, ever (so skip YouTube and ask these guys all your questions instead—they know a thing or two).”

“Thank you for rescuing my Henredon cane backed chair! I was sick when a hole was punched through the caning when the upholster put it in my truck. William made it look like new and the finisher who matched the finish did a great job too! These guys are complete professionals! We need more business people like this!”

“I've gone here at least 3 times by now but the place has so many twists and turns, it's hard to get back to a spot you wanna be at. The place is beautiful with amazing food too I tried the tea room, but I have one complaint. I'm not saying who but not the people at the front of the counter they were angels and just trying to get me to where I needed to go, they helped me and led me to a bunch of different places with rocks and geodes and was too shy to repeat myself that I wanted "Crackable" geodes. Again not behind the counter people but the last place I went to before actually finding what I needed, was meeting this older lady who seemed very sweet and everything. She was talking all about rocks and geodes, it was genuinely amazing to know the stuff I know now with those little details she gave but once I got to her booth, I realized most people aren't at their booths or sections when trying to sell things. Apon realizing that I saw it i said that this wasn't the right booth at all and I'm not sure if I worded it wrong but for her to give me such an angry expression over not knowing where to go is the soul reason I have anxiety with people. When I said this isn't the right booth she said oh ok and looked at me like I did something horrible to her and just overall angry, she had a beautiful booth just wasn't what I was looking for. I don't remember her name but she had geodes that were already open and a bunch of vibrant colors, smaller booth too. Back to my original thing I wanted Crackable geodes, still whole and had explained that. Overall beautiful place, just that one person that kinda threw everything off. And I don't wanna sound too sensitive but please put yourself in my shoes and understand with already having some social anxiety it was a bit hard to ask around because I didn't wanna seem like I didn't know where I was going and low n behold all of that happens”

“Mine and my husband's experience with Jasmyne at the Dallas Showroom was wonderful! I had used the company's website to do a lot of the homework myself before making the trip to the store, but Jasmyne's professional input was a huge help in making the final decisions to create the perfect sofa for us. We appreciate all the help she gave, and can't wait to see what we have designed!”

“This place is a gem for antique hunters. Lots of genuine antique rugs, lamps, furniture. Huge showroom. We purchased a beautiful huge vase here, the sales associate was very friendly and helpful. I felt the prices were fair for the quality of items and how preserved they were. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Friendly staff and overnight parking. Just back up to an empty door if you arrive after hours. There's no porta-potties so do whatchu gotta do. Hotels and restaurants nearby but not necessarily in walking distance.”

“Wow ? The most knowledgeable staff about every item in the store. They have the most wonderful antiques. We bought a beautiful console to go in the dining room. We had our eyes on a few other things, we will likely be calling to scoop those up as well. I can’t wait to be back in dallas to check their inventory out again.”

“Having gone to antique shops for over half of my life, you know when you find a good one. Nick Brock is a very good one. Not too many places out there that have fine quality decorative arts that rival major auctioneers like Christie's. He has a little bit of everything as well - some Chinese porcelain, European portraits, fine furniture, ethnographic objects, etc.”

“Called and asked a question about selling my silver and was greeted with the kindest words and lots of helpful information, even though he wasn’t able to purchase it from me.”

“I just learned about the Griffin Trading Co. recently and I'm really impressed with everything! I spent some time perusing their website and they have all sorts of neat collector's items! The website is professional and easy to use! I also learned they have a strong Instagram presence, but I haven't dug into that yet if I'm being honest.

I have had the chance to interact with Ms. Kathleen on several occasions now and I just have to say it is refreshing to interact with a business owner who is as passionate about their craft and services as Kathleen is! In a world of people who are indifferent and nonchalant about their work, the folks at Griffin Trading Co. are the opposite of that.

Next time you're in the Design District of Dallas, check them out! You won't regret it and you'll probably find your new favorite place!”

“Rachel is the best. She had me send in photos and was able to tell me my painting was authentic. She also provided me with auction materials I could use. I’m so happy I found her. If in doubt please use her. She was very friendly and very quick response. I will continue to use legacy antiques.”
