Terrible, awful services. The worst shopping experience of my life. Eye rolling and refuse to provide help, accuse customers. The associate’s ring hooked on the pants at checkout and pulled a thread off. Then she tried to cover it up and not doing an exchange until we insisted. The Associate id number: 150637

I wanted to write a review in hopes that whoever owns this store will think twice about who they hire. I love the clothes here. But it feels like with the music they play and the extremely unprofessional women they hire, that they want to bring in young girls to shop here. However, the clothing is clearly for women in their mid 30s-40s. It's expensive, good quality, and lots of corporate clothing appropriate looks. But guess what? The absolutely loud terrible music almost made it unbearable to stay longer than 5 minutes. And the girls working there were loud, either playing a game (while ignoring customers) or just rough housing for no reason, and acting very immature. It felt like walking into a teenagers high school party because they randomly decided to sell their mom's clothes. Shame, since the clothes are beautiful. My suggestion? Lower the volume of the music, change it to something a coffee shop would play (and not a club), retrain every employee and actually hire a manager that will correct or fire them on their unprofessional behavior.

The store manager Sydney is unhelpful and unfriendly. She lacks customer service skills which also reflects in her team’s lack of customer service skills.

I visited the NorthPark Aritzia on October 2, 2023, seeking to buy a new skirt. Emily and Paige were so sweet, and even gave me one of the fitting rooms with a large mirror inside!FYI: for those unfamiliar with Aritzia, most of their fitting rooms do not have a mirror inside, meaning that you have to come out to check a mirror… usually. In addition to the main fitting room area which has most of the fitting rooms, they have a second set of two fitting rooms (these are spacious and have mirrors inside!), separate from the main fitting room area, which are nicer than the normal fitting rooms; this is where I got to try on clothes. In this particular area, the mirror inside of the fitting room is well-lit, while the mirror outside is in a slightly-darker-lit space. The lighting differences, as well as requesting feedback from store employees, actually made it worthwhile to come out of my fitting room despite having a mirror!Still, I felt like I didn’t get the same attention as other customers in the main (mirrorless) fitting room area might have received with more employees going in and out of there (as well as from other customers… for better or worse). I’m not sure if that was because I’m visibly transgender, or just because some of the employees seemed busy. I suspect it was the latter, honestly; it was a Monday afternoon, so the store was not at its busiest. In the end, I did buy the pleated black skirt you see in the pictures I attached to this review.

It was pretty busy, so I understand it could take a while to get some help. But I couldn't get a hold of anyone anything until I made it through the whole line into the fitting room. It was really annoying to see how much more attention they gave to people getting completely new wardrobes. For some reason they really loved catering to every need of these indecisive clients and the employees would run (literally run) back and forth getting them whatever clothes they wanted from the sales floor. I certainly didn't need that much hand holding, but they didn't extend nearly a fraction of the patience or attention to me. I'm sure it was a good experience for them, but definitely made mine worse

I was in the Dallas store at NorthPark today August 23rd, 2024. I was utterly in disbelief that one of the women working in the store helping the guests was dressed so inappropriately. If you can even say “dressed.” I do not know if she was a manager or a sales associate but she was wearing a very skimpy, lace, somewhat thin bra and low rise jeans. Literally a bra. The bra tag was sticking out by the clasps in back and her entire stomach and back was showing. Very unprofessional and inappropriate for work. Its as though she just didn't finish getting dressed. If anyone had brought their children in the store it would have been awkward. I have been in retail management a long time and dress code and its level of elevation and being on brand is an important detail. I believe most people would not walk into that store and seek this woman out to help dress them or take her fashion advice. I will not post any pics.

Let me preface this by stating that I am an African-American woman and I am dark skinned and I love that about myself. Now I myself worked in upper management in retail and was shocked at how I was treated. I had a lady who seemed to be a woman of color (middle eastern /Indian maybe?) that helped me and she told me I was very beautiful. She helped me get my fitting room and everything else. As I’m changing, I heard one of her white coworkers come up to her and say “hey why did you call that girl pretty”. And she said “well she was” the white woman laughed and went on this tyrant about how ugly I was. The other girl soon joined in with the laughing.I heard every disgusting, racist thing she said and I only had two items to try on but I didn’t even want to come out of the fitting room because I couldn’t stop crying. For crying out loud I was in the store looking for a blazer to wear to my then fiancés funeral. I literally didn’t have the strength to argue. It’s been almost a year and everytime I pass the store my body is bombarded with anxiety and I’m always on the verge of tears. I never said anything I just decided not to purchase anything and left. This specific incident triggered me to the point where I had to seek therapy. Now that some time has passed and I know I am not acting out of anger, I genuinely want to say that diversity/inclusion matters and there is definitely some opportunity for growth.

cute lounge and casual clothes… very interesting fitting rooms.. there’s no mirror inside of your dressing room. you have to step out and examine yourself in a common area type of deal… not my preference. Tessa is very nice and is the only person who greeted me out of the two visits I had.

This is a busy place. Customer service was great but they had one cashier in a Saturday??? That’s crazy. They had plenty of the workers so they wasn’t short.

My favorite place to shop at North park. Karima, one of the sales associates, is maybe the kindest and most helpful worker I have ever met. They make awesome recommendations for difference pieces to try and have an extremely helpful team.
