The Service Manager reached out to me and fixed the situation. I appreciate his response.

Sent my license plates late, and they were the wrong plates. So, I'm a disabled veteran and I need my DV plates because certain toll roads in Texas are free for me which I use regularly for work. Not only did Audi Dallas NOT send me my plates when they had them (we had to call them and found out they were sitting in their office), they failed to complete the transform form we sent them. So here I am with the wrong plates. The car also had a massive crack in the windshield that WASN'T disclosed. TL;DR: Shady dealer that cuts corners. Would not recommend.

The personnel are well trained and well informed. I had some tricky questions and they competently answered all of them. Of course, Audi original parts are expensive but the service is absolutely worth the extra cost. I strongly recommend this place. This review comes from a Level 8 Google Local Guide and just to put things into context, I take good care of my Q5. I spent 3 hours cleaning it up last weekend.

I had damaged my passenger mirror and had it repaired at Dallas Collision Center-the Audi Dallas-recommended body shop. The process was delayed for a period of days because the Audi replacement unit was missing a part. No particular problem, though, on the body shop's part. The next step was to have Audi Dallas hook the vehicle up to a computer to test certain electronic connections. The Audi Dallas service center advised it would take approximately 3 weeks to get the vehicle in to check it. The service department manager provided the following excuses: a national shortage of computer chips (???), and no loaner cars. Apparently, the sales staff sold off most of the loaner fleet. No response to the question why a loaner car is even necessary for a diagnostic test. So I wait. Three weeks pass, and I bring the car in early on a Friday morning. In response to an inquiry: "when do you expect it to be ready?" the answer was: "we'll call you Monday or Tuesday with the status". No call Monday. No call Tuesday. No call Wednesday morning. After I call Wednesday afternoon (leaving a message because the service advisor isn't around , the service advisor tells me he "hasn't heard from the technician yet". Finally, at 4 p.m., 4 full working days after I dropped the vehicle off, I am advised the car is ready for pick up. They deliver it without a wash, and a with a $660 bill for what should have been an issue that could have been handled in a couple of hours. Not happy.... Their sales staff represented their service department would improve after their dealership renovation. It didn't....Unfortunately, Audi new car buyers have little option for alternative service providers. Buyer beware!!

The service center defrauds their customers. I brought an Audi R8 I was in the process of buying for a pre purchase inspection. While the price quoted for the work could be called criminal (30k USD for breaks and shocks, which can be and is currently being done for less than half that), the largest offense by Audi of Dallas is that they told me I had a leaky oil pump. The dealer that is performing the work later confirmed that Audi of Dallas didn't even remove the pan below the oil pump, and therefore Audi of Dallas would have not have had any way of knowing that the pump was leaking (it wasn't). Seeing as my dealership is performing work on the car, they would have had the highest interest in selling me work I did not need (if they were unethical like Audi of Dallas), but they did not do so.Stay far away from this dealership, there are plenty of good ones in the area that won't try to rip you off.
