Audio Electronics Dallas is an absolute clown show. They are like a 3-ring circus of incompetence. I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. I had the misfortune of dealing mostly with Hunter whose main job seems to be lying, making excuses, and just generally being an incompetent buffoon.I sent my Presonsus studio subwoofer to Audio Electronics Dallas for a warranty repair in April. They called me in June to tell me the repair was complete and they just needed to talk to their Presonus (Fender) representative to get a return shipping label. Simple, right? Wrong. My subwoofer is just now being shipped back to me as of today, August 24th.I know this because I am the one who scheduled the FedEx pickup. You see, I had to call Presonsus (Fender) support myself to get a return shipping label sent to Audio Electronics Dallas because this was apparently too difficult of a task for Hunter and his merry band of morons to accomplish. Hunter couldn't even be bothered to schedule the pickup (he lied and told me he did schedule a pickup). How do I know this? Because the Presonus (Fender) rep had given me the tracking number. I called FedEx to see if a pickup had been scheduled and they confirmed that no pickup had been scheduled. So I scheduled it myself. Unbelievable! All they had to do was call their rep to get a return shipping label and schedule a FedEx pickup. That's it! But that would require a level of competence that these guys just don't possess. Instead, they let my sub just sit there for over 8 weeks because they couldn't be bothered to ship it back to me.Bottom-line: don't take your stuff to Audio Electronics Dallas, you might not get it back. Fingers crossed my sub actually works.

Scam!!! Had a $600 speaker that had something wrong with the $300 circuit board. They said they did component level troubleshooting. So, the power supply component on the $300 circuit board needed to be replaced. They want $600 to do it. So, I'm out like $90 for the service fee and a month without my speaker... Complete waist of time and money.

1st time doing business. To repair my speaker there costs more than the speaker itself. They were timely on the estimated time to check it out.

I dropped off a EQ three months they ordered the wrong part. It has taking another 6 weeks to get the part, now they have the part still waiting 6 weeks later for my EQ. If you need your equipment fixed, and use on a regularly basis. DO NOT bring to this place!

I brought in a TSL602 , that's a Marshall 2X12 combo amp. It had a bad bridge rectifier (for the tubes heaters) a common problem for these amps it also requires a slight modification to actually repair this problem, the guy the call a tech just replaced it stuck it back together and sent it out charging me $200 .The part went out again (what a surprise) I took it to a independent amp guy in Irving Texas he fixed it right for $65. AUDIO Electronics Sucks.

I needed repairs done to an access virus ti. I sent in the keyboard to audio electronics, requested the expedited service and a total diagnostic and repair. They fixed a pot on it that I had requested, and then shipped it back after quite a bit of unfortunate fuss. When it arrived home, I noticed that the line in jacks in the back were still loose and had not been repaired at all, although I had paid for this service. I emailed them about this issue, and they ignored me. I am not impressed, especially after the expenses of shipping this device out there and back.

I had a great experience with this company! The repairs were done in less time than I was quoted. They even held one piece after it was done so I could pick up both at the same time.Mo was polite and willing to answer any questions I had.
