This is long overdue, but I've loved Avalon ever since I had my first haircut here with Jennifer over five years ago. I always get my haircut with Jennifer, and have referred her to some of my friends. She is a great hairstylist, and a great person with calm and kind energy, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. I've also had my hair highlighted several times with Mary, who is also great. Highly recommend!

Keegan is an AMAZING hairstylist! He is precise and meticulous, really taking the time to learn about you and what style you want specifically. He’s on another level of good-quite possibly the best hair cut and hair service I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! 🎉

Keegan is the best by far for perfectly symmetrical hair cuts. It’s just different getting a cut by a master with talent vs something giving you a hair cut. It’s worth booking with the best having the best haircut, and much less styling daily, as the hair just falls in place.

I’ve been going to Kevin for about two years now, and every visit has been top-notch. He’s not just great at cutting hair he really takes the time to listen and make sure you’re happy with every detail. Whether it’s adjusting something slightly or giving advice, he’s always patient and professional. From the warm welcome when you arrive, to the relaxing shampoo and hot towel treatment, to the personal touch of walking you to the door when you leave, Kevin really goes above and beyond. He’s truly a master of his craft and someone who genuinely cares about his clients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality haircut and a great overall experience.

I’ve been going to Kevin K for about a year now, and honestly, I don’t see myself going to anyone else. Every single time, he nails the haircut—even when I show up not totally sure what I want. He always takes the time to talk it through, gives great recommendations, and I end up walking out of the shop feeling like a brand-new person.
One of my favorite things (aside from the cut itself) is when he washes my hair—he gives this relaxing scalp massage that lowkey makes me feel like I’m at a spa. It’s such a small touch but makes a huge difference. Kevin’s energy is always good vibes, super welcoming, and it’s genuinely nice to catch up with him during the appointment.
He’s also really flexible with my work schedule, which I appreciate more than I can say. I used to struggle to find a barber who knew how to shape my hair properly, but Kevin just gets it. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows every time.
Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a consistent, skilled, and all-around great barber.

Kevin’s awesome! I’ve been getting my hair cut by him for about 6 months now and he always gets it just right. Clean, sharp, and exactly what I ask for. I’ve sent a bunch of friends to him, guys and girls, and they all have loved his work. Super chill and easy to talk to. Can’t recommend him enough!

I have been getting my cut and color here for a couple of years and I am so pleased every time I come from the salon! Brittney does my color and I am always amazed at how great it looks as it grows out. She does a highlight lowlight balayage with root shadow and I go around 7-8 months between appointments and it still looks fantastic. Ana cuts my hair and she is great as well. She takes the time to work with your vision while also keeping in mind what is best for you particular hair type. I would highly recommend Avalon in west village. Cute shops and dining in the area as well to pop over to right after or before your appointment. Thank you as always Brittney and Ana!
