Extremely disappointed in how my appointment was handled today. I drove an hour to get to this specific salon because of my co-worker talking it up. The students are great! But the scheduling and the teachers really need to work on their communication. I went in for a color touch up only for me to get there and have them tell me they are out of that color. Why not notify your Customers prior to their appt of this?? Why did you have me waste my time and gas for nothing? A courtesy call is all it takes and they couldn’t have even done that. Poor business practices. Just glad Ulta had an opening today since I took PTO just for this.

If you won't keep the lobby area (parts of a sandwich on the floor & Chipotle cup opened up with lid & straw laying on the side table) & powder room clean, I won't be using your services. No excuse with two staff members just sitting. And pls change the water filter. Better yet, offer water bottles.

I recently graduated from the AVEDA Esthetics program, there were several educators who contributed to my experience and education. If there is one educator that I had to name that has and will contribute to my career in the beauty industry is Mr. Johnny Flores. He gave me the confidence and tools to see in myself what I had to bring and offer to my clients, due to his coaching I have several clients who have decided to follow me even after graduating. His passion in the industry and helping students and clients achieve result driven goals after each facial is unmatchable. 5 Stars to Johnny!

Shout out to professor Johnny Flores! He was the best clinic educator very professional, supportive, and informative. Honestly the best of the best Aveda is lucky to have him! Y’all need to bump his pay he kept me sane at that school! And another shout out to the best intro educator he definitely made note taking and learning tons of book work fun. He needs a raise too! Kept me ready to learn and want to know more!

I just had to give a low star this time. I have been very pleased with Aveda until this last time with my hair. When I came this last time Aveda had raised the price and now charges $5.00 more. I know for most people that would not be a problem. I feel like this is a school and they are helping me and I am helping them because I am letting them get practice by doing my hair. I felt like this week it was not much help for me. They do not even give senior discounts. I had ran into a problem with my brows with one of the instructors and I just stopped coming for that. It looks as though I am going to have to stop coming for my hair as well. It is getting so expensive. They do a good job, but if one cannot afford the price that is it.

This salon has so much positive energy❣️ From the front desk to the stylist. You will be greeted with a smile. ?Sofia S. and Hailey M. are skilled students and have such a happy energetic vibe. I referred more people that were happy with their results as well. Who ever is managing this place please don't change❣️#faithfulcustomer

I've been going to the Aveda Institute in Dallas almost since it first opened (2008 or '09 I think), and I've almost always been happy with the students there and the results of their work. Breanne S upped that game even more. Breanne and I combed through my file that hadn't been updated since May 2022. She was careful to listen to what I wanted and what was listed and deciphered (with the help of the amazing instructors) through what would get me the results I desired. She promised to update my file so that I would have to worry or go into all the details again with her or the next student that I get. These students are well-taught and many have the desire to do their best for the customers. I hope to see her again in May before she graduates. ??????

I want to say thank you Aveda for being there for me in the past 5+ years. I believe that hands on experience is the only way a person is going to succeed in cosmetology is to get first hand experience. I want to express my gratitude in the fact that you are always willing to notify me of upcoming events, remind me of my appointments and the follow up emails are wonderful. Thank you again for your services and making me always feel better about my appearance.

It is not the same level of hair school as it was a few years ago when I last visited. I love Aveda and I have been coming here occasionally over the years since maybe 2013. I will not return. This was the worst experience at any hair school I have ever visited.I went in for a partial highlight and cut. Never made it to the haircut, as it took 3 hours for the foils to go in, some parts of my hair had foils on for 2.5 hours. The back of my hair is so dry and brittle today, I just want to cry! I asked her to take the foils out when I was on 3 hours, and she rinsed my hair but did not shampoo or condition. One would think she would suggest a deep condition after that. I left with my hair wet.I'm sure it is lack of proper instruction by the teachers, they were sitting there watching me, aware of the time I had treatment on my hair. This was totally unlike what one would expect from an Aveda school.

I have gone to the Dallas Aveda for years and love it! It's my semi-annual' spa' day! I've never had a negative experience, each esthetician has different strengths but they're all delightful and very professional. I recommend to all friends and have even taken them with me on occasion. A fabulous deal on spa services! (You can tip more at these prices - students always need cash...)

I've had some rough visits over the years and have given my fair share of "feedback." Maybe some things have been addressed ... maybe, and others would required Aveda spending money, so unsure there. I haven't had a facial in a while, so I am unsure about those bathrooms, the robes, or equipment. However, I just had a good haircut, with a good young student (Raelyn) and a good experience checking in/out. So that was nice; it's been a while. The students are their own merit, for good or bad. But the front desk is on Aveda. It was nice to not feel attitude or disdain this time. think the music was a bit turned down .... if I recall. Hopefully, that was NOT a fluke.STILL WISH THEY HAD PEDICURES BACK!!

I love Aveda Arts and Sciences institute. I always get my hair done there. 1) it's great for my budget 2) it is so much fun to meet the students and watch them learn 3) I have never, in 5 1/2 years, had a bad experience. The instructors are on the floor with the students at all times. I have gotten haircuts and color in the past.

I've been going to the Aveda Institute for over 5 years. I have been very happy with the students, until recently. It seems post pandemic shut downs, there was a big change with the educators and I'm finding the new crop of students are so sloppy and clueless. Absolutely not ready to graduate. The education has gone downhill. In fact, after my last 3 bad experiences, I've decided I'm not going to return. It's been a good run, but I only have so much patience.

My experience every time I go to Aveda is extraordinary. They give amazing service, they’re super friendly and ready to help you in whatever you need. I’ve had spiral perms done several times and I love how amazing my hair looks. Their products also help maintain my hair healthy and treated

Long time customer. Always treated as if I am a valued client. Time and interest is taken in what I want and if I am satisfied with the results. Students are always enthusiastic and friendly and instructors helpful and involved. Best deal in town.
