I rented a car from Avis and was quoted $138, but they ended up charging my card $338 without any explanation. That’s a $200 difference with no warning or valid reason. This feels like fraud and dishonest business.
I’ve tried to contact customer service, but got no help. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Beware of hidden fees and shady billing practices—I will not be renting from Avis again, and I’ll be reporting this to my bank and possibly the Better Business Bureau.
Do better, Avis!

Two different times these folks could not seem to do their jobs. The first was when they made us two hours late to leave for our trip because they could not manage to open the safe and access keys. We sat for two hours waiting for them to find a locksmith. There was no apology or attempt to make up for the delay.
We thought surely that was just a bad day, and decided to give them a second chance. My husband arrived only to be told that they did not have any cars to meet the reservation we made months ago (we needed a larger vehicle). No apology.
After showing us the available cars, we told them that none would fit our needs. In the words of Seinfeld, “Anybody can take a reservation. It’s the HOLDING.” We asked them to locate an appropriate vehicle at another location; the employee tried to call ONE other Avis, and when they did not answer he chose instead to take a different phone call and ignore us. My husband ended up calling other locations, finding a suitable car, taking an Uber to that location, and finally receiving a vehicle.
Do not rent from this place unless you enjoy inconvenience and zero customer service.

My experience with Avis rental car has not been good. I booked an Avis rental car twice, and both times I was disappointed. The first time, the shop was not even open. The second time, although I had already paid for the car I booked, I was not given the car, nor was I offered any compensation. Avis simply used my money for a month without providing any service.
Avis is not a good option. It's better to choose a more reliable alternative, as my experiences with Avis have consistently been disappointing.
I have reported to customer service but unfortunately seems they just focus on making money instead of customer service.

Just amazing customer service from Richard (manager of the store) I had several opportunities and interactions and each time the service was amazing. There was a mistake on my bill and he fixed it right away and waited on the phone with me until I received the new receipt.

very rude customer service...stay away from this business....rediculous customer service...rediculous..they need to train on how to treat customers worst staff...better they should go to school to learn how to respect people...

I am consistently disappointed with this AVIS car rental location. Despite having confirmed reservations, my bookings are frequently canceled without prior notice. This lack of reliability has repeatedly disrupted my travel plans, causing significant inconvenience and stress. I request AVIS rental company to prioritize customer satisfaction and improve its reservation system to ensure that confirmed bookings are honored.

Picked up car with only a QUARTER tank of gas (but was told to return with a full tank of gas), dog fur everywhere in the trunk. There was mud stains, dirt, debris ALL OVER THE INTERIOR at time of pick up. Seemed like the car wasn’t even cleaned AT ALL.
COULD NOT GET ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ON THE PHONE.
Would discourage renting from this AVIS location.

Great service. Pickup and return were very fast and easy. Staff also went the extra mile for me. I left a box in the rental car and they went out of their way to get it back for me. Would rent from them again and would highly recommend to others.

They put us in an all electric car but DID NOT make sure we knew how to operate everything on the car and didn’t show us how to connect it to charge it. Had to figure everything out on my own.

I have made a reservation 2 weeks before pick up date through Priceline .On they evening before my pick up date at 7.07pm, I received a voice mail from Avis stating that they will not be able to accommodate my reservation the following day at 10.30am. , they left me stranded without a vehicle . I do not recommend this Avis office to rent your vehicle from because it’s not guaranteed you will have one.
