I recently rescued a dachshund wirehaired puppy from wandering around in a pasture in East Texas. I already have one dachshund(miniature, short-haired), and they mixed well, so it made sense to take him home with me. When I was in East Texas, I took him to a local vet who was rude, and gave him the bare minimum in care, and made me feel like a jerk for not having found his owner after he hadn’t been claimed for a week (was posted online, and every page searched for his potential owner to no avail - he was also checked TWICE all over his little body for a microchip and nothing found). This Banfield location was able to continue his care by giving him a vaccine for Lyme disease, a medical bath for his numerous wounds that had left behind dried blood matted into his fur. They also removed those clumps and thoroughly cleaned his wounds. He was given pain medication, a continuing health plan, as well as an age range. When I brought him home he wasn’t eating/drinking or urinating, the vet called me as soon as possible to help strategize how I could entice him to eat and drink (real food with bone broth water), and it was the perfect fix! This is my first time taking in a rescue, and the folks at this location have been so kind and reassuring as to how I’m proceeding with Ricky’s care. I understand that Bandfield is a large company, and the level of care may vary by location, but I’ve had such a great experience at this location with both of my babies. I’ve experienced anxiety in the past with drop-off appointments, and they never mind explaining the exact plans they have step-by-step for the purpose of both anxious animals as well as anxious owners. Really appreciative for the consistently positive experiences! Please enjoy the happy and healthy photo of Ricky boy :)

I believe I started taking my dog here back in 2018 or 2019 but from day one the staff has been extremely welcoming, warm as well as knowledgeable. There has never been a time that they were unable to answer a question and they have always been able to work me in to their schedule no matter how tight it has been.I definitely recommend anyone that truly loves their pet to bring their loved one to this location.Thank me later after you've experienced your own above and beyond experience.

I love the Greenville location. Experience has always been great. They help us stay on top of our shots for our older dog. Dr. socolva(sp) is the best. Pet care insurance has always been such a great deal.

I had to put down my old man and beloved best friend of 13 years and they could not have been more compassionate about the whole situation. It made it so much easier. Every time I have needed help with my pets (family) Banfield has been there and done what they could. The package that I got back from Muggles cremation brought tears of happiness to my eyes and I'm so thankful.

Banfield hospital at Greenville Avenue is kind of very okay place, I believe their staff is kind of rude (especially the manager! I can tell you she hates her job) and not friendly at all. I would say, if you don’t mind to drive a little bit more, go to the Richardson location then you will have a great experience.

The nurses and receptionists are all helpful and a pleasure to speak with. After my pup was neutered they even called the next day to check on him and any concerns we may have had. Recovery went extremely well for us thankfully

All our 3 dogs are under the Banfield premium plan . I brought my dog there last September 26, 2022 for a small lesion near his rectum. We were concerned it might be cancerous. We paid $345 for labs only for cytology and thyroid profile and was told that it will be Friday 30th that we will get the result. We called that Friday and was told results are not in yet. Monday morning October 3, we called and said results not in yet . That same afternoon at 553pm, the doctor left a message for us to call back . We hurriedly called back and the receptionist placed us on hold. It was for 30 minutes until their system disconnected us . We called back and now prompting us that the office is now closed. We called back hoping to get a hold of somebody but we ended up leaving a voicemail. We were very anxious to know if the results are malignant or not! Tuesday October 4, nobody cared to call us back . October 5, Wednesday we called but was told that the doctor was off and we instructed the receptionist to have the doctor call us ASAP. Finally Thursday October 6, the practice manager Kanika called my cell phone and when I asked if this is about our dog’s lab results , she was rude to tell me that she cannot share information about my dog because our pet is only under my husband’s name . I told her I am one of the contact person the entire time we are with Banfield with our 3 dogs and I get called all the time and it’s even my own credit card under my name paying for their plan. She started talking about HIPAA violation and I told her that I am an RN and I know what HIPAA is. She still denied about sharing any information with me and asked me to call my husband to give her his permission. This manager was rude and lied that she did not get any note from their receptionist when we talked to her Wednesday. No apologies or no customer service to even look at the bigger picture . After their negligence about the lab results , this manager who even stated that she just had her training was even adding insult to injury ! This is our worse experience ever. Now I am rethinking about pulling my 3 dogs out because of this negligence and rudeness! Seeing other peoples negative comments here makes us very uncomfortable?!

If I could give negative stars I would. For 2 years they would not merge my two dogs. Both my husband and I own 2 dogs together and they always every two seconds asking for permission to talk about their file only with the person the file belongs to. They are rude. They don't dx the dogs correctly and make you come back the next day because if you fail to remind what the dog is going for the. They do what ever they want. This is the worst company to have let insurance for your dogs. You will pay for more in their medicines and making multiple trips to get them seen. The customer service on the phone for the 1-800 # they are the rudest people ever. They claim they know their policies but violent them. I want to warnd everyone from staying far away from this pet insurance company. They are a scam. Very unprofessional.
