Dr. Gail has been an absolute lifesaver for my dog during her battle with her liver. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to my furry friend's well-being were evident in every step of the treatment process. Dr. Gail's personalized approach and effective strategies have made a significant difference. I appreciate her kindness and skill, and I'm grateful to have such a caring vet for my beloved pet. Highly recommend Dr. Gail for exceptional veterinary care!

Good care for pets. Vets change often but it easy to keep up with pets records with the app!

This is a wonderful hospital. Everybody were nice and treat people with respect. Doctor care about your baby and prices are good. I will highly recommend this Banfield.

Don’t waste your money on Banfield, especially this location. Will take your money each month but make every excuse to not see your pet. Awful staff here.

The energy is improving in this place. Dr. Cross and Dr. Gail and staff care so much about the pets. Thank you! Dad of 5 pets.

I would never recommend the Banfield in general, but I have also not had great experiences at this location with wait times and service. I drove all the way to this location for my cat’s appointment, only to be turned away because the doctor hadn’t taken their lunch break yet. So I wasted an hour of my workday driving there and back and now have to reschedule and do it all again, which I probably won’t do, even though I’ve paid monthly for the wellness plan this entire year. I have had so many issues with multiple Banfield locations (misdiagnosing, issues with spay recovery) that I have had to pay for other vets on top of my wellness plan fees. I will never be returning or recommend banfield to anyone. Highly recommend local vets rather than this poorly ran company.

Do not use this place, especially the wellness plan. I did it one year and very clearly stated that I did not want to auto renew. Unfortunately, Banfield ignored my request and continued to charge me for the unused service and refused to refund my money. Complete criminals. Look elsewhere for someone to care for your fur babies.

I have been coming here for years now and seeing Dr. Cross. I haven’t had any major issues until now. My dog Mylo has been acting off the past couple nights (panting heavily and shaking for hours) and I went through all his medications to see side effects or to see if anything related would be causing it. He is 13 years old, so something small could be major at his age.He has an elevated liver enzyme and I knew they had changed his liver medication a few months ago when I went for a refill. They were out of the Denamarin and said there was a different brand medication that does the same thing and gave me that one. I looked up the medication today and it comes up as a joint supplement. He is now on two different joint supplements and no medications for his liver. When I called Banfield to ask them about it, the tech just apologized and said someone made a mistake and that Mylo should have been on the liver meds this entire time. They have been giving me the wrong medication for him for the past few months. I have been there multiple times since unknowingly receiving the wrong meds- for his checkup visit and a few other exams for other issues. It seems as though the doctor doesn’t check medications- even when they change medications and dosages, and that the techs have more autonomy than they should. I am sure I’m not the only person that this has happened to and that they wouldn’t have noticed the mistake if I hadn’t checked myself.I will not be returning to this location because I do not trust the staff, or even the doctor at this point. This type of error in unacceptable and dangerous. They apologized and said they would get me the right liver meds when they come in stock, but they don’t know when that will be. Their response was unhelpful and did not alleviate any of my concerns.

Their wellness plan is a scam! It doesn't matter if your pet dies, they'll still charge you and if you don't pay, they'll report you to the credit bureau. Check them out on BBB

I brought my dog in she had a swollen face from bad teeth, they cleaned her up pulled all the teeth that needed to go didn't charge me for the ones that left voluntarily! The staff is very friendly courteous and kind I would recommend this location and facility to everyone in the neighborhood thanks for taking care of my four-legged baby, Gabby's mom☺️

Hocus is not the easiest dog to work with but the banfield lake highlands staff is so patient wit him and tries to make the visit as stress free and easy as they can. We recently moved to Coppell but the drive is worth it to bring him here

Had an appointment for my dog, was confirmed by email and text. Upon arrival, business is closed. For the day. Very frustrating and disappointing.

First, I would like to say that overall we have had very positive experiences at Banfield (who we have been members with for over 12 years). We absolutely love Dr. Ecker (who relocated) and have had very positive experiences with Dr. Cross and other staff members. The negative review is a direct result of an experience we encountered with an alternative vet on two separate encounters.First encounter: Our dog Jasmine was having incontinence issues which is why we took her into Banfield. She was previously diagnosed (by another vet at Banfield) with preliminary kidney failure. We felt this vet did not do a proper assessment and/or looking at her complete file, given this vet prescribed Jasmine with an incontinence medication that is very high-risk for dogs with preliminary kidney failure, and did not properly warn us of these risks. Before discovering this medicine was a high-risk for our dog (and potentially fatal), both my husband and I spoke with this vet and had very negative encounters. This vet was rude, short, and arrogant. This was very atypical from our normal conversations we have had working with Dr. Ecker and Dr. Cross. We both had several questions around the medication and status of our dog, and it seemed this vet was unable to talk in-depth with us or take the time to answer our questions. After getting off the phone with this vet, something did not feel right so we decided to research the medication he prescribed. We discovered this medication was extremely dangerous (and potentially fatal) to give to our dog Jasmine. In fact, every medical website warned: DO NOT GIVE TO DOGS WITH LIVER DISEASE - COULD BE FATAL. When I called this vet back to ask him, he got very defensive and then raised his voice asking me, "Ok ma'am - what do you want from me?" I simply asked if it was a dangerous medicine to give to Jasmine and why it happened.Second encounter: We still have our Banfield plan, and our dog Nola who has cancer (and is undergoing chemo) had been showing signs of discomfort and a potential UTI. We scheduled an appointment with Banfield to get Nola seen right away and requested the first appointment. We later received a call that only this vet (from our first encounter) was available. Despite our differences, we had Nola's best interest at heart and wanted to get her seen due to her discomfort. We dropped Nola off at 9:15am on Monday morning, and then received a call an hour later that this vet refused to see Nola.To be honest, it was somewhat of a relief that this vet would not be seeing my dog in the event that he is clearly immature, unprofessional, and couldn't put our differences aside to prioritize the health of our dog (who by the way had nothing to do with our conflict with this vet). The last part I will add is that I have contacted Banfield Lake Highlands management, regional management, and Banfield headquarters about these incidents. So far they have done a wonderful and professional job in appropriately addressing my concerns and handling the situation.

Everyone on staff is very kind, understanding, and so helpful. Dr. Ecker and Dr. Cross have been great with my dog and answer any and all questions I have. Every visit has been positive, informative, and helpful for my pet. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.
