Barry's is a great workout! I didnt realize how much I missed having the community and instructors to push me every day! I love all of the Dallas instructors because the are motivating and mix up the workouts week to week!

It's a premium workout experience and I like it. However, I would not recommend it for everyone. If you are looking for an exciting way to start your morning with loud music and a high tempo workout this is the way! My only complaint is how expensive it is.

I took the full-body class with an amazing instructor named Malena on 09/01/23-amazing was her music, energy and instruction style.The studio is large, beautiful and clean. The managers were very welcoming.I am visiting from Miami so it's was definitely a joy to take a class that reminded me of Barry’s Midtown Miami.

Went to Barry's for the first time and I see why everyone loves this place. The staff at the front was really friendly; they made me feel welcomed, and checked me in quickly. I got an amazing workout in. I did the Run X Lift class. I usually don't sweat that much but my instructor, Sydney G, had us WORKING. She was great! The energy and intensity was definitely there with the music and her providing constant instructions. I do have to admit that the way the instructions were presented were hard to follow for a newbie, but for regulars, they seemed to know exactly what to do. The equipment was nice and appeared to be clean. I felt really good and accomplished when I left.

Reminded me of orange theory. Had a good workout but could not understand much of what the trainer was saying due to the loud music.

I really feel like I have a great workout here, but I wish the instructors would talk less; they talk SO, SO much that I can’t even enjoy the music (which is usually pretty great). Make the workout less complicated so we can vibe to the music, not your yelling. Also, the treadmills could use a thorough cleaning, especially the sides where your feet go when you’re resting.

Comparing to barrys locations in other cities this one blares music way too loud. I had ringing in my ears for hours after the class. You will suffer permanent hearing damage if you come here frequently enough. They should measure the decibels - it's way past the damaging level and hearing cannot be repaired.

Get ready to feel overwhelmed! In a good way. Tons of instructions. Magical vibe where people are really pushed over the limits. Equipment is great. It feels fresh in there although it’s a very hard workout. Even on my first classes I could leave feeling accomplished. Kudos to TJ!

Love the studio. Part of the reason I love Barry’s is the loud music and High energy. Love the instruction. However the instructor did not stop talking for the full 50 min. I really enjoy being able to jam out to the music for the few seconds we get between instructions without non stop talk. That being said the class was great and the workout was great. Maybe that instructor is just not my style.

If you understand how Barrys work it is a great place to workout at. The classes are extremely challenging, you will be sore the next day at first. This is probably one of the most challenging places to exercise. They also keep things basic in the red room. They only equipment you will use are dumbbells , treadmill, step and occasionally use of bands, nothing to fancy! The instructors are extremely motivating which helps make the time go by fast. They are a lot of students in each class so you might not get a lot of personal attention, but I have had instructors discreetly tell me how to correct my form. If it's your first time go with a friend who has been their before or arrive early to let the front desk know. They will explain everything to you. They also have a smoothie bar and a merchandise shop. I have yet to use both amenities. They price is the biggest drawback from Barry's. They do occasionally run specials so keep an eye out for that.

Was enjoying my time at Barry's for the past couple months and was under the assumption you had a grace period to reserve remaining classes under the month within 48 hours of the next and each cycle should be 30 days yet my cycle for feb was 2/2 - 3/2 (29 days) ... and on top of these we lost 2/3 of the month due to an ice storm that cancelled available class days turning a shortened month even shorter. Someone new named James Mai came into town visiting from Houston I guess and spoke with me on the phone making me feel like a stranger to my own gym I've been going to and tried to say I was being stupid and this is not a policy then kept saying it's 30 day periods in the system even though the app doesn't show that. So I basically lost 2 classes totaling about $60 worth. Really made me feel like a piece of s*** customer after all these months of paying insane amounts for these workouts .... Even though they preach Barry's is a family. Guess I won't be renewing my membership moving forward.

Great facility and great instructors. I've taken classes at multiple studios. I stopped in for a morning class on a wintry, ice storm day, as other studios and gyms had closed due to weather. Located in the West Village area. I took a Run x Full body class with lower body focus with Meghan. Meghan has great energy and will challenge you throughout class! Loved her vibes. In general, I absolutely hate treadmill running, so that was the worst parts of class. Compared to other HIIT classes I have taken in Dallas, I felt that this class was very fast-paced. It can be good for those who just want to get a workout in and be out, but I like classes in which I can be present in each movement, focusing on the muscles I am engaging through each movement. It's hard to do in a fast-paced setting, I understand, but that's just my preference.The facility is wonderful - has high-quality skincare and hair products. The showers have good water pressure, and the restroom area has good mirror lighting. The lockers are decently sized as well, for those of us who like to bring a change of clothes.There is a parking garage next to the building where Barry's is located.

I'd only heard of Barry's from when I used to live in LA. To me, it seemed to be marketed as a gym for super fit beautiful people lol. I don't consider myself either of those but I got a free trial of Classpass, which Barry's collaborated with, so I figured what the heck. Location is pretty convenient right next to west village and it's helpful there's an adjacent parking structure. Front desk guy was super friendly and gave me a rundown on how the class is structured and the treadmill functions, which I found helpful since they're not like regular treadmills. Similar to orange theory, the class alternates between sets on treadmill and floor, so be prepared for some challenging HIIT. The class is lit only with red light and accompanied with crazy loud music. The instructor was clear and audible while I was on tread, but I was pretty lost during floor exercises. I'm no stranger to HIIT however it was very difficult to hear her while on the floor. It didn't help she was not within my line of sight to see what/how she was doing doing the exercise. It was frustrating to feel lost and rely on looking at my neighbors. I tried my best and still got a decent workout while on the floor. Treads were def the best challenge for me during the class. Overall I'd say this is NOT the place to go if you're unfamiliar with HIIT or basic weightlifting. The other con I would identify is the music. It was raging loud and difficult to hear and see during floor portions.
