When I opened my accounts, I honestly believed my banking nightmares were over. Please make sure you ask about the fees associated with their accounts because I wasn't informed correctly and I had fees being charged. I opened 3 accounts and the banker informed me that as long as I had $500 in any of the accounts, there would be no fees. Also, she told me I would be reimbursed 4 monthly atm fees regardless of the atm. To this day, the fees have not been reimbursed. This is disappointing. Also, your checks will be placed on hold for weeks, the accounts don't show your full deposit and it causes a lot of confusion. I'm considering going back to Chase even though their minimum balance is higher. They at least are completely transparent where your money is. The not showing your full deposits causes so much confusion. I was reimbursed the maintenance fees but it's still frustrating and it made me angry that I was not explained correctly about the fees associated with each account. My banker was Paulette and she's a nice person don't get me wrong but when it comes to money, there should always be transparency.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience getting the runaround with empty promises and endless communication delays and then finally was left high and dry with no response about my loan application that I was told was nearly a sure thing. Sadly, I have to relate that you should avoid working with the branch manager Joey Melin at any cost. I don’t think you can trust a word that he says and he is highly unreliable.

They will gladly take your money to open an account but leave you no way to access that money until your card shows up a week later. Walking around with cash money is not okay and shouldn't be excepted of you.

After a never-ending story of long lines, poor communication, and mistakes from our previous big-name bank, we left them and came over to Truist. What a breath of calm, fresh air! We appreciate having a bank manager who knows our account and who is dedicated to supporting our business. Whenever I have a question, I can actually get it answered quickly and by a human being! They are clear, responsive and friendly. Their mobile banking app is easy to use. Although it's always a lot of work to transition banks, it is totally worth it.

This branch is not open at all in Saturday. As a matter of fact not one branch is open on Saturdays even though they say they are until 1pm.

I had someone open an account here with my social security number. They told me that it was in fraud department and not to worry. But I had no way of communicating with fraud department. They kept sending me letters with no phone numbers. Finally they sent it to collection and were dinging my credit. I paid it even though I never opened an account. I do not blame them for the fraud. I blame the local bank for telling me to ignore it and for the entire customer service of this bank. Who would send a letter demanding collection with no phone number or way to reach them except just pay us. Customer service is indeed dead. BEWARE if you have an account here and you ever have trouble.

Love this bank. People here are super nice and always help me with any issues I have. I go out of my way to get here. They make an effort to remember your name and what you have going on in your life. Dunno why the other person had an issue, maybe the issue was their attitude?
