Stacey the teller accused me of fraud and locked my account in the middle of a pandemic for about 3 1/2 weeks. I came the next day to speak to the Branch Manager. Nestor notified me that the banks have lost tons due to fraud. So, he decided to make me go through a whole process to provide documents verifying my funds. I provided the documents that the BBVA fraud department requested of me. After 3 weeks of going back and forth sending documents, they decided that they would just verify the funds with the institution. The very thing I asked them to do at the beginning, but they held my money and sent me through the ringer for what? I was unaware that fraud was at an all time high due to Covid-19. I truly understand that alert. However, what was it that I was chosen to be the one without access to my much needed funds just like anyone else? I would like to see who is it that fits the "caution" group. I've decided to close my account with this institution and notify my network of this appalling experience.

Deceptive, no customer service. The "Real time" system they use is a nightmare for processing transactions and mystery penalties and fee's that pop up that they just say are your fault. Reported to the BBB.

If there is anything less than 1 star I would it to this branch. Their Manager is no way interested to help you. He has this big head and thinks he knows it all. Stupid guy! Just dont go to bank there....I would NOT.

Bank from Hades. They've NEVER- IN ANY DEPARTMENT - DONE WHAT THEY SAY. And NEVER say what they do.
I've had to wait months and months for returned calls (about doing what they said in 1t place!). Still waiting for a correct answer on a near 2 months ago lie flip-flop. The guy from BBVA calls me in his cell phone (I don't recommend) and leaves a message to call back (of course no answer about the flip-flopped issue). I call back, no answer and leave message to call me. Even send a text - weeks later NO ANSWER. Hey, maybe he should have just called me back without me having to leave voicemail AND send a text. Of course ALL MY EFFORTS IN VEIN - THEY NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH. They just go and lie, do whatever. Time they fix or head to court (I'll file in Jan.)
