When PNC took over BBVA, there was significant disruption online with my accounts. I made the decision to move my accounts over to BofA where my investments are also held. I had one remaining checking account with a balance of a few thousand dollars to cover any remaining auto bill payments I may have forgotten about. I forgot about this account and PNC never provided me with any online statements, so I didn't know about this account until a local banker called to discuss the account with me. It turns out PNC had been charging me $25/mo for several years without notifying me. I showed the lack of emails to the banker but he still wouldn't refund me the $700+ they charged my account. This is absurd and unprofessional treatment of customers! The transition from BBVA to PNC was unbearable but I never thought a bank would actually steal my money! Stay away from PNC!

The physical bank is fine, but their online services are TERRIBLE! Despite many attempts, I could not open an account online without making a visit to the physical bank. Once open, my account had significant restrictions and delays when transferring money electronically between banks. Oh, and there are fees too, and this is for an account with tens of thousands of dollars in it.

Horrible customer service. I haven’t had access to my account since the change, and BBVA had screwed it up before that. This is beyond ridiculous! Run, don’t walk, to a different bank.

Would give a 0 if possible. Didnt think it was possible for BBVA to get worse. They did getting bought out by PNC. Been sitting in the lobby for 30 mins with no help or assistance. Literal oblivious people running this bank. PNC is also terrible. Added a virtual wallet to my account without permission or me opting in then listed it as negative for some reason. Will be closing all my accounts and moving elsewhere asap

Worsts Bank in the world never go there. Customer service is horrible. Not only are they not professional but do not go to the branch they are not wearing masks. Very dangerous

The female drive-thru manager is clueless. She wouldn't give me my money in the drive-thru because my signature on driver's license "does not match my electronic signature." Seriously? She told me that in the future, I need to try to sign electronic documents as close to my real signature as possible. I tried to explain to her it is an ELECTRONIC signature, generated by the computer, it's not something I physically signed. I left there shaking my head in total amazement that BBVA Compass would employ someone so clueless. Closing my account.

The manager Rocií³ is probably the dumbest person I have ever seen in any type of customer service situation. Completely clueless and only when one of her co workers stepped in was I able to receive what I needed. Someone should seriously evaluate her performance

Well, after a very disappointing experience at a different (to big to fail) bank it was time to look elsewhere. A friend recommended I talk to BBVA. Called and made an appointment and went in to open two business accounts. Everything went smoothly and they did exactly what they said they would do. Now considering moving my personal accounts here. It was nice to get local treatment as a small business customer. BBVA made me feel immediately at home where the C bank, even after being a customer for 16 years, did not. Thanks!
