About Bert Fields Park
Bert Fields Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Dallas, offering a peaceful and serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The park features large, open meadows that are well-maintained and perfect for various activities, such as soccer, picnics, or simply throwing a Frisbee around. The park's main attraction is its around 0.7-mile trail, which winds through the serene surroundings and is a popular spot for dog walkers and joggers. Although the park lacks some amenities like restrooms and benches, its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere more than make up for it. Despite the lack of dedicated parking, visitors can find a spot to leave their cars in the nearby residential area and enjoy the park's peaceful setting. The park is also a great spot for wildlife enthusiasts, as visitors have reported seeing coyotes roaming the area. While the park may not have all the bells and whistles of other parks in the region, Bert Fields Park is a true hidden gem that offers a unique and refreshing experience for those seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of Dallas. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy a moment of serenity.

Headed to White Rock Park. Looks like Bert trail to Spring Valley/Hughes Ln (take road/golf courses) to Alpha bike lane to either the White Rock trail/Hillcrest. Head toward Anderson Bonner Park then to White Rock. I love White Rock park.

Best kept secret in Far North Dallas. Serene meadows large enough for several soccer fields, open and well-maintained with a simple trail along the creek. Parking is a challenge.
