I will never use my money at any Beverage Depot, I went in sometime last week to the one off of Samuell Boulevard. I answered in the building and I was told to leave my purse / bag anywhere but I couldn't have it in the store. So I was told by a black dude and a black hat sitting on a stoop and a Mexican or middle eastern man telling me that I couldn't have my bag in the store it was against policy so therefore I will be taking my money somewhere where it is wanted and not needed. I've never been this humanized in my life except for when I went to that store I suggest all black people find somewhere else to go because if you are a woman and they're telling you what to do with your body and your purse I don't think this is the store we need to be shopping at.

All reviews begin with five stars. During the review process the service(s) and circumstance(s) maintain or lower the rating. This franchise keeps it's stores well stocked. They have discount prices on many of the lesser known alcohol brands and frequent sales on the more well known brands. You have to be able to compare prices on the spot with an internet connected device to know if you are getting the best price. The store appears to be a bit unorganized. Many of the staff seem to have attitudes. I have had a couple of really bad experiences in this venue and stopped going. These issues affected the rating.

always cool here.
always good prices always cool people working although it's an extremely dodgy part of town if that doesn't bother you then this is one of the best liquor stores in the city

On yesterday 6/6/2024 me and my mom always go here for yrs.On yesterday my mind was changed the owner came the register more than once as if we were doing something illegal checking out receipts. Then when asked why he told us it's his job but not one time did he go and check anybody else register or receipt. Even after the worker told him what was paid for he still wanted to see when my mom got ready to check he came over again doing the same thing.That was so embarrassing like why would I come all the way to the register to steal.I use to love going here but no more for me rude and very disrespectful

Love to give these guys a much higher review on selection and price, but their customer service is saddening. It’s not worth any level of discount. I only come here because they have a few specific things nobody else close to me has in stock.

Owner Sean/ Shan is a prick.
I’d rather spend double the money elsewhere than buying anything from him.
You are better off buying at ARCADIA LIQUOR across the highway. Much better service, prices and cleaner store .
