Halee and her team in Dallas were phenomenal! She is very flexible, always working around my busy schedule to assist. The highlight was that my ring selection was done remotely through video conferencing as I live in NYC, making the process seamless and easy to balance with my work life. I was able to navigate the selection process/ pricing/ execution of purchase with ease as Halee provided me with detailed information on every question I had. Would definitely recommend this service to all. Professional, kind, and extremely helpful at every step.

So excited about the exquisite lab diamond studs Halee assisted me with. She also helped me pick a diamond bracelet that coordinates fantastically with my watch. Halee was extremely helpful, answering all my questions. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were refreshing in a day when so many are in such a hurry to finish your purchase and move on. I was impressed with Bova’s selection and their willingness to “customize” aspects of the studs to meet my particular needs. I would highly recommend Bova and Halee for your next Diamond or lab Diamond purchase.

Terrible quality. The setting was made completely wrong and he kept arguing with me that it was fine. The pave stones were falling out within 3 days. After 3 months, the setting completely broke. The guy was a total jerk about it and continued to argue that there was nothing wrong with it and even said “it’s not like it’s going to fall out” AS HE WAS HOLDING THE BROKEN SETTING AND DIAMOND THAT FELL OUT! Not even joking. But yes, he did fix it but wasn’t pleasant to deal with. Now I am trying to sell the diamond and am having issues selling it due to the strong blue fluorescence. We were told that wasn’t an issue and didn’t matter but now I’ve been told by multiple people that it is killing us and a huge issue. I’ve even been told it only affects about 2% of diamonds and this is one of them. That wasn’t mentioned at all. I’ve also heard several negative stories about Bova since I’ve been on this journey. I don’t understand how they have such great reviews.

Buying a diamond from Nir is the easiest process. He is very knowledgeable about diamonds. He answered all of my questions and I got exactly what I was looking for at an unbelievable price. Bova Diamonds is the best place in all of Dallas for wholesale diamonds.

I usually don’t write reviews unless it’s EXTREMELY awful. I wouldn’t trust this place if I were you! My fiancé now husband bought me an engagement diamond+ring from Jason at Bova with a recommendation from his friend back in January 2022. After the proposal, we took the ring in to get it resized. That was the first time I met Jason and learned that my diamond was not GIA certified--it had a certificate from another company. I was a little skeptical then but what do I know. Not too long after that, I felt a chip on my diamond. We weren’t sure how it happened and what caused it, so we took it to Jason. He looked through the loupe and said he didn’t see a chip. But it was obvious to the naked eye and we could feel it with our fingernails. He didn’t want to admit the damage. I had to show him exactly where is, then he admitted that he saw the chip and he blamed me. He said I must have hit it on something. As far as I know, I don’t recall hitting anything with my ring, but fine, I’ll take the blame. At that point, I wasn’t happy with the ring and I didn't trust Jason. He’s not looking out for our best interests. Therefore, we had 3 options. One, make an insurance claim for damage. Two, sell it back to Bova at a much lower price than what we paid. Last, accept the damage and do nothing. I feel really bad for my fiancé because he picked out that diamond+ring for me with Jason’s recommendation, and we didn’t want to make insurance claim or lose money on the ring. So, Jason suggested we move the stone so the chip was hidden beneath a prong. We agreed and left the ring there. My fiancé went to pickup the ring, Jason told him that they couldn’t hide the chip underneath the prong because it will cause the chip to expand, so they just moved the chip closer to the prong. What the heck!?!? You should have just said that from the beginning or before you moved the diamond out of the setting. Now, the chip is not hidden and the diamond is looser. They didn’t place it back properly! At that point, we decided to take it to my friend who owns a jewelry store for second opinion. He said the stone was rated far less than what the certificate claimed and was worth less than we paid. He said it was such a low quality that he woudln't carry it in his store. We later got a third opinion from a gemologist, who said in his 30 years in the business, he had never heard of the company that issued the certificate on my diamond. He agreed with our "second opinion" that the certificate was fraudulent, that the stone was lower quality than advertised, and that we overpaid for the stone. He also said the setting was near worthless--it was badly proportioned, the metal appeared stressed, and the seams were low-quality.

Selected Bova Diamonds from a Google list of jewelers in the area. So glad I did! They were so helpful with my questions and choosing the perfect setting for my stone. Everyone at Bova is very nice and wants what the customer wants. I will always go to them for my custom jewelry needs.
